pixi 26.03


pixi 26.03 is available from 3 March 2026. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations. Reference the numbers in parentheses if you have any questions for support. You can download the latest full installer after the database update on pixi Web under Administration > Downloads. pixi 26.04 is released on 07.04.2026.


The new version of pixi Mobile is included in this release. Enjoy a refreshed experience while maintaining the same core functionality. No manual action is required. Note for Zebra device users: A few minor steps are needed to complete the update.

Upcoming Two-Factor-Authentication Changes – Action Recommended
Two-factor authentication (2FA) will be enforced for all customers on 21.04.2026. To access all 2FA configuration options, including 2FA-exempt roles, you must be on a supported release (26.02 or later). Older releases will use the default 2FA behavior and exemptions will not be available.
We recommend upgrading as early as possible to ensure a smooth transition. More information is available here.

We released a hotfix for pixi Mobile on 19 March 2026.

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue in the Picklist program where reopening a picklist could focus on an already scanned item instead of the next item to scan. (1423473)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We improved the stability on Android 7 and 8 devices by optimizing background error handling and system interactions. (1416872)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the on-screen keyboard behaved inconsistently when editing quantity values. (1427693)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where multiple Goods Receipts could be created for the same Purchase Order when using the Android Back button. (1419071)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the picked item status displayed incorrectly during the picking process. (1414883)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the Continue button was missing when entering batch information while using the device camera. (1422534)

🟩 Resolved Issue: When processing a goods receipt document for items with tags, such as a batch number or best before date, the system previously reused the last entered batch number for later scanned items that only had a Best Before tag. (1416104)

🟩 Resolved Issue: When the setting Scan In -Summarize Split Order Lines was enabled, items that included serial numbers could not be scanned. (1417420)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue in Replenishment where the next item displayed incorrect data after you finished the previous item. We also resolved an issue where, after confirming a quantity change, focus did not move to the Item Code field, preventing immediate barcode scanning. (1429891)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue in Pick to Box where, after reversing the picklist order, the focus did not return to the Item Code field. (1426709)

🟩 Resolved Issue We resolved an issue in Put to Stock and Take from Stock where the focus did not move to the Bin or next item field after you changed the quantity. We also resolved an issue in Replenishment where the keyboard remained open after you changed the quantity. (1436339)


API

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the API call pixiUpdateDelivery did not correctly remove the lock initiated by a mobile user from a goods receipt document. The API now removes the lock as expected when the same user is provided. Note: To remove the lock, you must provide the same username in the @PiccoUser parameter that originally locked the goods receipt document via mobile. (1404506)


pixi Mobile

General

🟪 Enhancements: The Item Info Layout in Settings now includes additional controls for managing how item information displays across programs. This update includes:

  • Reordering the fields (Item Name, Image, Code, Tags) via drag and drop

  • Visibility toggles to control which fields display

  • A new Item Image Display section to manage image settings.

    • Orientation selection (Portrait or Landscape).

    • An image size slider for real-time scaling.

  • An updated Preview mode that displays a sample item and reflects layout, orientation, and size changes before saving.

Saved layout and image settings apply across programs, including the Replenishment's Pick and Put and Bin Info, and are saved per device. (1324237, 1324238)


🟪 Enhancement: We added vertical color-coded bars to stock programs to improve visual distinction between workflows. This update includes: (1324431)

  • A green bar to Put to Stock

  • A red bar to Take from Stock

  • An orange bar to Relocate


🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the application could crash if the internet connection was lost. The application now displays an alert if an exception occurs instead of crashing. (1395748)


Goods Receipt

🟩 Resolved Issue: When closing a delivery in pixi Mobile, the purchase price from the delivery was not transferred to the item. (1411470)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the last entered batch number was automatically applied to subsequently scanned items although these items only required a best before date. (1416104)


Pick to Box

🟪 Enhancement: We refactored how the box confirmation required permission is processed in the Pick to Box to improve scanning performance, especially on slower devices. (1396660)

Administration (Devices)

🟩 Resolved Issue: In some cases there were two entries for the same device on the Devices page. (1408920)

🟪 Enhancement: A Delete button is now available in the toolbar of the Devices page that allows you to remove device records. (1408937)


Administration (Downloads)

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the Downloads page did not automatically feature the latest pixi Mobile version when a hotfix was released. (1420041)


Controlling (Reporting)

🟪 Enhancement: We resolved an issue where reports containing a large amount of data could not be downloaded directly as XLSX from the web due to timeouts. You can now use Schedule to receive an email with a direct download link, allowing you to download the report locally. (1389801)


Logistics (Picklists)

🟪 Enhancement: Picklist creation has been optimized for orders that can be shipped immediately via Ship Now. Orders that cannot be shipped completely with all available stock (for example, if some items are excluded by picklist filters such as bin groups) are now excluded earlier in the process. This ensures that all available items of an order are shipped together in one package and improves performance during picklist generation. (1370982)

🟪 Enhancement: Picklist creation now considers the configured Volume and Weight parameter more precisely when shipping full orders (Partial order = No, Ship now = No). If a minimum volume is defined, only orders whose total item volume meets the defined threshold are added to the picklist. If a minimum weight is defined, only orders whose total item weight meets the defined threshold are added to the picklist. If no volume limit for either of those is configured, the check is skipped. Payments

🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the bank account from the CAMT file was not recognized during bank file import, which prevented correct matching to the bookkeeping account. (1391301)

🟪 Enhancement: QR Codes now support the new specification on payment slips for Swiss customers. The address format is now structured as required in Version 3.4.0 (Name, Street, House No, Postal Code, Town (City), Country Code). (1404188)
