Use pixi without Admin Rights on PC

This article describes how to use pixi as a non-windows administrator. For some processes, such as printing from an application, it is necessary to have these rights.

1. Log in to the Windows computer as an administrator

2. Open the registry editor "regedt32" or "regedit":

   1. Click 'Start'

   2. Run...

3. Switch to this path:

   1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

   2. Software

   3. Madgeniuses

4. Click on the "pixi" key with the right mouse button, then on "Permissions..."

5. Assign user group "User" the key "pixi" the permission "Full Access".

6. Confirm the settings with "OK" and quit the Windows registry editor.

7. You can now log out the admin user and log in with the other user.
