How do I prevent the pop-up "New: Stock" from being shown again and again

Due to the lack of Windows user rights, this pop-up may be displayed again and again in pixi Desktop Customer Service.

The reason for that is the registry key: ShowNewColumnsInfo

This key can be found by default in this registry path:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Madgeniuses\Pixi\CustomerService

or

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\VirtualStore\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Madgeniuses\Pixi\CustomerService

If pixi does not have the needed permission, the key will not be changed and stays on 1, which results in the pop-up being shown all over again. In many cases it helps to just run the pixi Customer Service applications once as administrator and confirm the pop-up as this changes the registry key. The key itself can also be changed accordingly in the registry.

Orders

Why is the same item split into several order lines?

If an item is scanned in a partial quantity, pixi splits the item into separate order lines (orderline split). If, for example, an item was ordered in quantity 10 in an order, the line is split into, for example, 2x5 items if 5 items are scanned or even 10 individual lines if scanned individually. Please clarify with the services whether or when this splitting should or must be on the invoice or delivery note.

This behavior occurs in the following scenarios:

  • Scan-in

  • Pick-to-Box (scan-in during picking)

  • Forced individual item scans with different BBDs and batch numbers

  • Returns (when 5 out of 10 items ordered are returned)

  • Bundles (split required to deal with rounding problems)


Invoices/Credits

Why am I not able to send PDF invoices using the local mail client?

If your local mail client does not start when using the button Send PDF in pixi Customer Service, then follow these instructions:

  1. Open the Windows Registry.

    • Press the Windows button + R (Run dialog).

    • Enter regedit and confirm with OK.

  2. Navigate to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows Messaging Subsystem

    • WOW6432Node is only displayed in 64-bit systems.

  3. Create a new string value:

    • Name: MAPI

    • Value: 1

  4. Close the registry and try again.

Alternative solutions:

  • Make sure that your e-mail program is also saved as the standard e-mail program in Windows.

  • Install pixi via an administrator account or with administrator rights and start pixi customer service with user rights.

  • Uninstall and reinstall your email program.


Customer Account

Why are certain events shown in the Customer Account, although being older than 6 months?

It can happen that pixi Customer Account display events are older than 6 months although the filter is set to "Last 6 months". This is because we check the event's creation date to get to know which events to display.

For example, if a payment which is older than 6 months has been recently added to the Customer Account, this payment is shown although the filter is set to "Last 6 months".

The refund is not possible. An error message is shown.

It can happen, that an invoice cannot be refunded and a message is shown instead.

This is caused by a credit which is already existing with the very same amount and reference text. In this case, please enter a different text and try again.
