Upcoming Two-Factor-Authentication on 21.04.26 – Action Recommended
Release 26.02 is a required foundation for upcoming two-factor authentication enforcement on 21.04.2026. Customers running this release (or later) will be able to configure 2FA-exempt roles and take advantage of the full set of 2FA options once enforcement begins. Customers on releases earlier than 26.02 will not have these configuration options available and will be subject to default 2FA behavior when 2FA is enabled. In addition, customers on releases earlier than 26.02 cannot use device registration to manage mobile devices and devices using pixi Connector.
Recommended action: Upgrade to Release 26.02 or later ahead of 2FA enforcement to ensure a smooth transition.

Hotfix
We released a hotfix for pixi Mobile on 24 February 2026.
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the item code field in the Picklist and Bin Inventory programs lost focus after each scanned item, causing it to become inactive and require manual reselection before the next scan. This issue also occurred when the quantity confirmation with the Picklist - Confirm Quantity setting was enabled. After you confirmed the quantity, the focus did not automatically return to the item code field for the next item. (1421043, 1415922)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the Box Number field did not remain active after scanning in Assign Boxes, requiring manual reselection after each scan. (1412205)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where selecting a transport bin already in use in Replenishment caused the mobile app to crash. (1410519)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where picklists created with sorting by Bin Sort Number did not follow the defined sort order when the same item appeared multiple times in the same bin. (1413101)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where a box was marked as full in Pick To Box when the second-to-last item was scanned instead of the final item. This issue caused duplicate invoices for the same order. (1414894)
🟪 Enhancement: We improved box confirmation permission handling and navigation in Pick To Box to optimize scanning performance, especially on slower devices. Page transitions are now smooth and fast, with no intermediate pages displayed when switching items. (1396660)
API
🟪 Enhancement: The API call pixiReadAddItems now supports the SupplNr (Supplier ID) parameter. When provided, the response includes only records associated with the specified supplier. (1339094)
🟦 Optimization: The API call pixiGetDelivery was optimized for better performance. Results are returned around 3 times faster. (1376795)
pixi Messaging
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue in the messaging event pixiExItemStockChangedExtended where available stock was calculated incorrectly. When reservations are enabled and the database setting Export available stock - reservations are enabled is set to 0, the system now calculates available stock as physical stock minus open orders with reservations. Previously, physical stock was reduced for all open orders, including those without reservations. (1366159)
pixi Mobile
General
🟧 New Feature: The pixi Mobile BETA (based on .NET MAUI) moves into general availability with this release. The app update is included with the 26.02 update and there are no manual steps required. The functionality remains the same and you can enjoy a fresh new look.
If you are using a Zebra devices, there are some minor steps that you'd need to complete in order to use the app. Please find all instructions here. (1401472, 1327260)
🟪 Enhancement: pixi Mobile is now distributed again on Google Play as a 64-bit–only application to meet Google Play requirements. As a result, devices that support only 32-bit architectures cannot install this version from the Play Store. Support for 32-bit devices remains available through other distribution channels. (1327260, 1327263)
🟪 Enhancement: The keyboard in pixi Mobile now supports dark mode when your device is set to dark mode, eliminating the previous requirement to use a light mobile theme to access the app. (1390533)
🟪 Enhancement: Scan operations now handle whitespace and special characters more reliably. Leading and trailing spaces or backslashes are automatically trimmed, QR codes containing embedded whitespace are now processed correctly and unknown codes trigger the standard error flow after trimming. If you scan a code that includes an internal space, these codes remain unsupported, as expected. (1312500)
🟪 Enhancement: You can now reload bin information from the Settings menu without a forced log out. (1312501)
🟪 Enhancement: Barcode scanning accuracy is improved when multiple barcodes are visible in the camera view. When the scanner is active, a red dot now appears to indicate which barcode is selected for scanning. If multiple barcodes are detected, the system automatically scans the barcode marked with the red dot. (1390531)
🟪 Enhancement: The item code type that is set in the database setting Mobile Item Code Type is now displayed as the primary code. On expanding the view the rest of the codes are displayed. (1324194)
🟩 Resolved Issue: In case the first name of a user is missing, the app now displays the user name. (1402959)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue with Datalogic Memor 10 devices, where in case of too quick scanning, you wouldn't be directed to the next item. (1320774)
🟩 Resolved Issue: Scanning in with Datalogic Memor 10 devices did not work correctly in several programs. The issues are now resolved. (1196501)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the Ask in GUI preference (Control Center > Tables > Stock Movement Operations) did not work in the pixi Mobile programs it was enabled for. When enabled, it displays the stock movement type selection screen. However, if there is only one stock movement operation, the screen will be skipped. This issue affected the BETA version of the new mobile app. (1355623)
Goods Receipt & Relocate
🟪 Enhancement: In Goods Receipt and Relocate, the Suggested Bins are now hidden by default. Additionally, the app now remembers the user setting, matching the behavior as in Put-to-Stock and Take-from-Stock. (1372064, 1312502)
Inventory
🟪 Enhancement: During shortage checks, when only one BM data combination is available in the bin, the system now skips the step for entering BN and/or BBD and you'll only need to enter the quantity. When more than one BM data combination is available, entering the correct BM data remains required. (1224896)
Picklist & Pick to Box
🟩 Resolved Issue: Until this update when a picklist was partially scanned and re-opened, pixi did not move to the next unscanned item. Additionally, in some cases, the order of the picklist was changed. These issues were resolved and the app behaves as expected. (1312508)
🟩 Resolved Issue: The button to open the camera on the device did not work. (1382530)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the Pick to Box scan did not use the location set on the mobile device. (1404144)

Administration (Devices)
🟪 Enhancement: With this release, the device authentication is mandatory 28 days after the update. For more information on device authentication, refer to this page. (1384397)
🟩 Resolved Issue: In some cases, there were multiple pixi Connector entries on the Devices page. After updating to Release 26.02, all pixi Connector records on the Devices page will be removed to prevent duplicate entries. If any pixi Connector device was previously marked as Trusted, you must reapply the Trusted setting after the update.
There are no changes to pixi Mobile records. (1404370)
Administration (Shops > Shipping Seals)
🟩 Resolved Issue: In some cases, shipping seals were not displayed correctly because uploads failed. (1364775)
Administration (Templates)
🟪 Enhancement: Electronic Invoices now support the ampersand ("&") character in text fields by using CDATA. This ensures special characters display correctly in generated invoices. Affected fields include item name, seller name, seller address and city, buyer name, buyer address and city, shipping name, and shipping address and city. (1322342)
Example:
<ram:Name><![CDATA[Descartes1 & pixi]]></ram:Name>The updated template must be downloaded manually and uploaded as a new template for electronic invoicing. You can either replace your existing template or create a new one and mark it as ‘default’ to activate it.
