pixi 23.03

pixi 23.03 is available from 07 March 2023. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


API

🟪 Enhancement: The API call pixiSetOrderShippingLock was extended with the following parameters: (735319)

  • Username

  • Reason

If the API is used when updating orders in pixi Web, this value ("API") is automatically written to the "UpdateEmp" field. If no reason is given when updating, either "Order was locked by API" or "Order was unlocked by API" will be added to the order as a comment. This information is also displayed as a comment in the History tab in pixi Web.

🟪 Enhancement: The tag assignment of some API calls was improved and it is now more accurate. (737867)

🟪 Enhancement: The event ScanInPutIntoBox was extended with a new parameter: OrderlineKey. (735291)


pixi Mobile

Replenishment (Pick)

🟩 Bug fix: It was not possible to select the option Transport bin full when only one item was scanned. (731617)

Replenishment (Put)

🟪 Enhancement: Various enhancements and a resolved issue for Replenishment: (706710)

  • The Transport Bin can now be selected as a Target Bin.

  • When items are put into stock, the option Transport Bin Empty (available via the three-point menu) can now be used at any time; no items or bins need to be scanned.

  • From now on, the amount of missing items that are flagged via Report Stock Shortage is taken from the document instead of the items that are missing in the target bin.

  • The Bin History (pixi Inventory) now also shows the missing stock flagged via the Replenishment program. Previously, the information was only visible in the Inventory program in pixi Mobile.

  • It is possible to put items on a document in different target bins. With this release, the document is closed after all items have been successfully put to stock.

Administration (Tables > Shipping Vendors - Early Access)

🟪 Enhancement: A new page was created: Shipping Vendors. This page contains all the settings for the Shipping Vendors tables in the Control Center and was created as part of the migration to pixi Web. The master user can create and delete shipping vendors and edit all of the fields. (722537, 722538, 722539, 722540, 722541)









Customer Service (Merge Customers - Early Access)

🟨 New Feature: A new page was created: Merge Customers. This page allows you to search for similar records of your customers and merge them if there is a suitable match. The page is disabled by default for all users, except for administrators. Features include: (639884, 639885, 639886, 639888, 730517)

  • Automatically merge customers with 100 percent match
    Overnight, identical customer data is merged into one profile.

  • Automatically run the process for finding new duplicated every night
    This functionality automatically searches matches based on their match rate.








🟪 Enhancement: When creating or editing a shipping vendor, its code must consist of 1 and 3 characters. (740443)

🟩 Bug fix: Edited Shipping and Billing addresses could not be saved. (747437)


Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, no error message was displayed; the field provided for this purpose at the bottom of the page remained empty. (732352)

Control Center

Amazon SP-API - Amazon Marketplace Belgium

🟪 Enhancement: pixi supports the Amazon Marketplace in Belgium. The Marketplace ID (referred to as "MarketplaceId" in Control Center) marketplace.amazon.com.be can now be used if the required access data for Belgium is provided. (726644)


Amazon SP-API - Retrieving the Refresh Token

🟪 Enhancement: pixi provides an option in pixi Web to retrieve the refresh token which is needed for the Amazon Selling Partner API.
To retrieve the token:

  1. In pixi Web, go to Administration > Amazon IDU.

  2. In the upper menu bar, select Authorize Amazon (icon with the paper and check mark).

  3. A new pop-up window for Authorize Amazon is displayed. Select a channel, e.g. Amazon Prime Shipping Label.

  4. Click Authorize. You are redirected to the Marketplace on the Amazon Seller Central website.

  5. Chose the account for authentication.

  6. Click Select Account.

  7. On the Authorise Descartes pixi page, read the terms and conditions. If you agree, click Confirm.

  8. You will be redirected to pixi Web.

  9. Check the URL in the address field of your browser. If it states "completeAuthResult=OK" in the last part, the authentication was successful. The Amazon Refresh Token was automatically added to the settings in Control Center.

  10. The authorization is done.


Auto Emails

🟩 Bug fix: The creation of some types of system emails did not work correctly in version 23.02. (748789)

🟪 Enhancement: Test auto emails will be deleted after ten years from the creation date when no expiration date is set (value = 0). Otherwise, test auto emails will be deleted based on their expiration date. Auto emails that failed and expired will also be deleted based on the same rule. Deleting is done in batches of 500 emails, up to a maximum of 10,000 emails at a time. (727639)


General

🟪 Enhancement: The shipping vendor provider/logistics provider Hermes was removed from Control Center, as it is no longer supported by pixi. (427869, 431782)


Import & Export

🟩 Bug fix: If a supplier had a new EAN code, it could happen that the old EAN stayed in the dedicated table and no EAN was marked as default. (733436)

🟦 Optimization: To avoid long waiting times and high use of system resources, the preparation for exporting items to the shop was optimized.(731513)

🟦 Optimization: Various scenarios for importing and editing item codes have been checked and improved. (698046)


ShipRush Integration

🟩 Bug fix: During address validation, an error message was not displayed in German. (736903)

🟪 Enhancement: Customs information is submitted to ShipRush. The functionality is available for the following services of UPS and DPD EasyPostDPDGermany: (730570, 731157)

  • DPD via ShipRush (International DPDDeClassic)

Customer Service

🟩 Bug fix: Customer orders were not displayed if they contained bundles whose order lines were not split correctly. Incorrect splitting is now prevented and orders are only updated if necessary (e.g. due to a price or quantity change). (720290)

🟩 Bug fix: It was not possible to create multiple replacement orders for the same Invoice. (744858)
