With Filter Builder you can search through the lists and narrow the results in the table to display the entries that match your search criteria. Filter Builder enables you to search on multiple fields at the same time with different search conditions.

Filter a List

To filter a list:

1. In the list view, click Filter Builder. A dialog box opens. Tip: You can move the dialog box around the screen. Click in the header and drag the dialog to a different position.

2. In the drop-down box select the general search rule (important when you search with multiple conditions):

   • select all if you want that displayed results match all conditions you set in the Filter Builder.

   • select any if you want that displayed results match at least one of the conditions you set.

3. Set the condition. In the drop-down lists select the column you want to search on, select the operator, and select or enter the criteria.

4. (Optional) To add another condition, click Add a condition and set the condition.

5. (Optional) To add a new group of conditions, click Add a Condition Group, select the general search rule, and then set the conditions.

6. Click Search.

7. Close the Filter Builder.

The list displays the filtered entries that fit your search conditions.

Modify the Results

You can modify the search conditions to refine the displayed results.

To modify the results:

1. Open the Filter Builder.

2. Modify the search conditions as required. You can:

   • Add additional conditions or a group of conditions.

   • Remove conditions or a group of conditions.

   • Change existing conditions.

3. Click Search.

4. When you see the results you want, close the Filter Builder.

Reset the List

To reset the filter and display the full list:

1. Open the Filter Builder.

2. Click Reset.

3. Close the Filter Builder.
