Administration (Templates Editor BETA)

🟪 Enhancement The template editor is now available under Administration > Templates > [Template Details] > Tab: Setup. You can now edit and save templates in the REPX format directly in the web interface. The editor is directly sourced from DevExpress. All information on how to use the editor can be found here. (1194544, 1194554, 1194556, 1212475, 1214726)
Note: If you would like to test the functionality, contact the Descartes pixi support.

🟪 Enhancement: As part of the new template editor release, a new field Reference No. (used for preview) has been added to the General tab on the template detail page for templates in REPX format. This allows document previews, available under Setup > Preview, to be generated based on a relevant reference number.

Items (Item Management)

🟩 Bug Fix: We fixed an issue where the column Purchase Price (Last Delivery) in the Bundle tab on the item detail page showed a value of 0 if the user lacked the Supplier Price (Purchase Cost) permission. (1203032)

Controlling (Reporting)

Users without administrative permissions do not have automatic access to reports. Access can be granted by assigning roles to individual reports (Report Profile > Profile Information > User Roles). (1231363)

🟪 Enhancement: A new report is now available: End-to-End Stock Performance Report. This report provides user-specific insights into warehouse performance with detailed metrics such as picked items, completed orders and return cases by user. (1193627)
Note: The value in the Ship-Out (Packages) field is based on the number of tracking IDs - not the number of physical packages. This supports both the current and previous multi-package functionality (Desktop).

🟪 Enhancement: A new functionality is now available in the Schedule section: Generate public download link. When activated, pixi generates a publicly accessible download link that does not require login. If disabled, a pixi login is required to access the link. This setting was implemented to cater the automatic report generation via email. (1208787)
Known Issue: If you're not logged in and attempt to open a private link, the login page may load delayed - with a loading spinner visible on the Login button.

Connector

🟩 Bug fix: We resolved an issue where shipping labels were printed in the incorrect format via pixi Connector. Labels now retain their original size to ensure compatibility with standard formats. Please note that some labels may still need to be manually scaled if the original size exceeds the supported dimensions. (1239730)

Control Center

🟪 Enhancement: A new setting is now available: Limit for Scheduled Report Generation. This setting defines the maximum number of scheduled reports that can be generated per day (default: 5) to control system load. Only Descartes pixi Support can view and change this setting. (1208791)
If the limit is exceeded:

  • Further scheduled reports are marked as Failed on the Reporting page.

  • A warning is logged, indicating the daily limit was reached.

  • Affected reports display the status Error.

  • Manual report generation is not affected and remains available at all times.

Auto Emails

🟩 Bug Fix: Tracking IDs are now correctly sourced for auto emails from the package information. If no packages are assigned, the tracking ID continues to be taken from the invoice. Previously, manually adding a tracking ID could result in multiple IDs being sent in customer emails.
Note: This change affects only the <TrackingID> variable in the email detail section. The variable used in the email body still reads tracking IDs solely from the invoice. (1161191)

🟪 Enhancement: We fixed an issue where emails were sent without attachments even when the option Send only if attachment is available was enabled. This error occurred when the PDF attachment had not yet been generated or uploaded to the document server at the time of sending. To address this, a new database setting was added: Auto Emails – Wait for Attachment. (1191766)

  • Default setting: "0". If the attachment is not available when the email is created, the email is moved to the NOT SENT folder.

  • To give the system more time to generate/upload the attachment, the value can be set to "1" (hour) or higher. This increases the likelihood that the email will be sent with the attachment.

  • Once the attachment becomes available, the email is sent immediately—regardless of the configured wait time.

ShipRush Integration

🟩 Bug Fix: We resolved an issue with the DHL Paket service in ShipRush where return labels were not printed despite the option being enabled. The return label printing function has been restored. (1227496)

🟪 Enhancement: The ShipRush SDK has been updated to the latest version and now supports the DHL Kleinpaket Service (DHLPKLEIN). (1219812)
