You can save a specific set of options and parameters for purchase order suggestions as a profile. It is a good practice to save a purchase order suggestions profile for those business scenarios which occur frequently. You can choose a saved profile in the first step of the Purchase Order Suggestions wizard.

Create a Profile

To create a profile:

1. In the first step of the Purchase Order Suggestion wizard, select Specify parameters and click Next.

2. Select an order method and parameters.

3. Click Add > Save Profile.

4. Type a name and a description for this profile and click OK.

Warning: Avoid using umlauts as they cause an error message when using the profile.

Use a Profile

To use a saved profile for creating purchase order suggestions:

1. In the first step of the Purchase Order Suggestion wizard, select From existing profile.

2. In the list of available profiles select the profile you want to use.

   • If you want to skip the Parameters page of the wizard, uncheck View profile settings in the next step.

3. Click Next and follow the remaining steps of the wizard..

Modify a Profile

To modify a profile:

1. In the first step of the Purchase Order Suggestion wizard, select From existing profile, then select View profile settings in the next step.

2. In the list of available profiles select the profile you want to modify and click Next.

3. Select a different order method and/or modify parameters.

4. Click Add > Save Profile.

   • You can also change the profile name and description.

5. Click OK to save the changes.

Delete a Profile

To delete a profile:

1. In the first step of the Purchase Order Suggestion wizard, select From existing profile.

2. In the list of available profiles, select the profile you want to delete and click Delete quick tool.
