When you log in to the pixi web application, first check if there is any important information displayed on the Start Page.
If you want to access a list of objects, click on that list in the navigation pane to open it. From a list you can open an object (for example an item, supplier, supplier order...).
Open an Object
Select the object from the list of objects.
Click Open in the list toolbar. Alternatively, you can double-click an object in the list to open it. In some cases, you can simply click on the name or number of the object, which is a link to that object.
Object name and object type are displayed in the Object Tray.
Close an Object
Point to the object button in the Object Tray and click X.
Modify an Object
Open the object.
-
Modify the object:
When modifying the information in the text boxes, use the TAB key on your keyboard to move to the next text box or SHIFT+TAB to move to the previous one.
Information which is presented in an editable list can be modified directly in the list, or you can double-click the row to access additional information.
In certain places, quick tools are available to manage the content. Point to the row or record to display quick tools.
Save an Object
Click Save in the object toolbar to save an object.
Important:
You must manually save any change that you make to an object. For example, when you add a note, you must save the object if you want that your note is saved.
In the Object Tray, objects with unsaved changes are displayed in italic font with an added asterisk (*).
If another user modifies and saves an object after you have opened it, you will not be able to save your changes. In this case, you must reopen the object, change it again and save it.
View History of changes for an object
When you modify an object, changes to specific data are saved into the history. To view the history of an object:
Open the object
Click the History tab.
Learn more about which data is saved to history for different objects.
