Start Page

Start Page of Web pixi gives you a quick overview of pixi configuration and information that is relevant for you, so that you can asses and determine which actions you need to take. Information is available in different widgets. You can customize your Start Page by rearranging the widgets.


Available Widgets

The following widgets are currently available on the Start Page.


Purchase Orders

  • New Purchase Orders: Displays last ten newly created purchase orders (Status: New).

  • Purchase Orders Waiting for Confirmation: Displays last ten purchase orders that were sent to suppliers (Status: Ordered).

  • Overdue Purchase Orders: Displays the list of overdue purchase orders (based on estimated delivery date).


Offer Management

  • Your Offers - Follow-up Needed: Displays first ten offers that will expire soon, owned by the currently logged-in user.


System

  • Configuration: Displays pixi configuration details and user information: username, selected language, web browser version, pixi release version, newest pixi release version (if you are not on the latest version), pixi API version, web application version, pixi database version and the database server name.

  • Desktop Applications: Displays links to all pixi applications which you have permission to use. Click on a link to start a pixi desktop application.
    Important: You must start pixi desktop applications from this widget, if you log in to Web pixi and pixi desktop applications on the same computer. If you start pixi desktop applications from Windows, and you are already logged in to Web pixi, you will use two pixi licenses. What can you do with a widget?

  • Rearrange a widget: Click and hold the widget header and drag it to a different position on the page.

  • Collapse or expand a widget: Click the arrow in the widget title to expand or collapse the contents of the widget.

  • Refresh a widget: Point to the widget header then click Refresh.

  • Open an object from a widget: Click an object link in the widget to open that object.
