Purchase Order Templates


You can create and manage your purchase order templates. Add special templates for different suppliers and specific requirements. The template can then be assigned to the supplier in the supplier object and is used for export of a purchase order to pdf or rtf and when sending a purchase order via e-mail.

Add purchase orders Template

  1. In the navigation click Administration and then click Templates.

  2. Click the purchase orders tab.

  3. Click the New Purchase Orders Template in the toolbar.

  4. Enter the name of the template and add the description.

  5. Click Choose File (Google Chrome) or Browse (Mozilla Firefox) and find the desired template on your computer. Select the template and click Open. Note: You can create new or edit existing template files in the Template Editor on your computer.

  6. Click OK to save the template.


Edit purchase orders Template

  1. In the navigation click Administration and then click Templates.

  2. Click the purchase orders tab.

  3. Choose a template from the list.

  4. Click Open in the toolbar and edit the template information:

    1. Change the name and the description of the template.

    2. Click on the .repx template file name to download it to your computer. You can edit the template file with the Template Editor on your computer.

    3. Add an updated template file or add a different template file.

  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Assigned suppliers are displayed in the dialog. Click on the supplier name to open it.


Delete purchase orders Template

  1. In the navigation click Administration and then click Templates.

  2. Click the purchase orders tab.

  3. Choose a template from the list.

  4. Click Delete in the toolbar.

The system template can't be deleted but can be modified. It is automatically assigned to all suppliers that don't have other templates assigned.
