pixi 22.03 is available from 1 March 2022. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


Please note: We have rescheduled the release date for pixi 22.05 from 03.05.22 to 10.05.22.


Hotfix

Connector

This hotfix is released on 28 March.

🟩 Bug fix: The authorization token for users logged in to pixi Connector expires after 3.5 days. When Connector tried to import order IDs after that period, the import requests resulted in an error (due to missing authentication) and many failed import retries. This caused major issues on servers, affecting performance in all applications. With the hotfix, pixi will shut down Connector after 5 unsuccessful imports that were caused by missing authentication. pixi Connector also displays an error message that informs you about the unsuccessful authentication. After Connector is restarted and the user is logged in again, all processes run seamlessly. (609135, 611124)


API

🟪 Enhancement: API call pixiUpdateSupplier was enhanced by three parameters that help set the supplier status: (498346)

  • @SupplierNote (Note)

  • @IsDisabled (1 = deactivated /0 = activated)

  • @IsLocked (1 = locked/0 = not locked)

🟦 Optimization: API call pixiGetInvoicePackage was optimized. Results are returned significantly faster. (587206)


Auto Emails

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, emails that could not be sent were sent twice at a later point. (581655)


Databases

🟪 Enhancement: Enhanced logging was implemented for table ItemHist to track when and who deleted entries. (477933)

🟦 Optimization: A procedure was optimized which, in some cases, led to high CPU loads when items were scanned for boxes. (583526)

🟦 Optimization: A procedure was optimized that is used for parsing openTRANS-conform XML files. (523524)


pixi Mobile

Scan-In

🟩 Bug fix: After scanning the first item and tapping the Continue button, the camera did not open, even though the option Box Confirmation Needed was disabled. Now, the button is labeled Open Camera and after tapping it, the camera opens so you can scan the next item. The feature Box Confirmation Needed was originally introduced with pixi 21.10 and the issue resolved here only affected mobile phones, not hand scanners. (587824)


Relocate

🟦 Optimization: Relocating many items (e.g. 2000 items at once) was optimized to reduce loading times. (578952)

Please note: Items cannot be relocated when they are on a picklist at the time of relocation.


Web Application

Administration (Shops - Shipping Seal)

🟩 Bug fix: Shipping Seal graphics may be cached by the browser and may not show the latest version. The graphics on the shop sites, however, will always be up to date. (601230)

Please note: A proper rounding of the calculated percentage is not yet implemented. Currently, just the first 2 digits are displayed (e.g., 0,66666 is shown as 66%).

Item Management (Items)

🟩 Bug fix: The data representation in the statistics diagram Stock Fluctuation was incorrect. The new behavior is as follows: (515994)
If an item was added on 1.9.2020, then

  • the LY (last year) chart starts in September 2020 and ends in August 2021

  • the TY (this year) chart starts in September 2021 and ends in August 2022

🟪 Enhancement: In Statistics, the diagrams were localized for de-DE. de-CH and en-US. (451354)


Purchasing (Purchase Orders)

🟩 Bug fix: In Order Suggestions, rounding was applied for the order method Stock Turnover even though Apply rounding on required quantity was not enabled. (518618)


Customer Service (Orders)

🟩 Bug fix: Searching for Shop, Payment Type and Shipping Vendor was not possible. (503865)


Customer Service (Invoices and Credits)

🟨 New feature: A new section was added to Customer Service: Invoices and Credits. The latest 1000 documents are displayed here (after clicking Search). All columns can be sorted and filtered and the search functionality features a search by document number. The document number on the overview page is linked and directs you to the respective details page of the invoice/credit. Depending on whether it is an invoice or credit, the return costs are hidden or displayed. The external order number links to the order details page. The same applies to return numbers which lead to the details page of a return case. (503865, 550369)


🟪 Enhancement: The following columns can be displayed on the Invoices and Credits on the overview page: (503865)

  • Document Nr. (Invoice/Credit Nr.), Document Type (Invoice/Credit), Created, Created By, Ext. Order Nr., Order Type (B2C/B2B), Storage (Yes/No), Gross Total, VAT Amount, Net Total, Discount, Shipping Costs, Discount Voucher ID, Discount Voucher, Currency, Ship Date, Shipping Vendor (ShipVendorCode), Tracking ID, Return Tracking ID, Return Costs, Payment Type, Paid Amount, Due Date, Payment Date, Dunning Level, Creation Mode (Direct/Automatic/Manual/1SS).

    Columns support sorting, filtering, showing/hiding and moving. The filter for column Status has 3 checkboxes: EIN, AUS and RET

🟪 Enhancement: The search functionality in Invoices and Credits was enhanced with the following parameters: (503869)

  • Document Type, Document Date, Shipping Vendor, Location, Payment, Shipping Lock, Ship Date, External Order Nr., Order Type, Tracking IDs Imported, Tracking ID

🟪 Enhancement: The following columns are displayed on the Invoices and Credits details pages: (550265)

  • Status, Barcode, Shop Item Nr., Item Name, Qty, Gross Price (Currency), VAT %, VAT Amount (Currency), Net Price (Currency), Discount, Amount (Currency), Discount %, Final Gross Price (Currency), Final Net Price (Currency), Gross Total (Currency), Net Total (Currency), Serial Number, Batch Number, Best Before Date

Customer Service (Returns)

🟪 Enhancement: Linked Invoices and Returns now lead directly to the respective details page in pixi Web. Before, links triggered the desktop application to open. (584590)


Logistics (Picklists)

🟩 Bug fix: Some entries in the Only for Category drop-down menu were not displayed when a picklist was edited. (591867)


Desktop Applications

Control Center (Import & Export)

🟩 Bug fix: Due to a missing attribution at item import, it could happen that the category ID and supplier ID were not imported. This additionally led to problems when editing other data fields at a later point (e.g. suppliers, item numbers etc.). (584390, 584392)

🟪 Enhancement: For all import and export jobs, a default interval of 5 minutes was introduced. The intervals can be manually set in the Control Center settings. The following conditions apply: (588519)

  • The minimum interval value is 1 minute

  • The maximum interval value is 60 minutes

  • In case the manually set value is not in the range of minimum/maximum boundaries the default value is applied

  • In case the set value is not a valid number the default value is applied

🟪 Enhancement: Two new check constraints and respective error messages were added to the Control Center order import checks: (549301)

  • ShipVendor code does not exist.

  • OrderDate cannot be empty.

🟪 Enhancement: pixi is now compatible with the latest version of DDBAC (DataDesign Banking Application Components) 5.8.85.0. (591538)


Invoices

🟩 Bug fix: Printing invoices from external URLs was not possible if the server the document had been requested from was protected by Cloudflare. (591653)
