1-Scan-Shipping™ has been developed for fast and effective shipping of 1-item orders. These orders make up more than 50% of the online shop orders for many online retailers. 1-Scan-Shipping™ allows you to ship these orders immediately without using the usual box system.
Important terms:
1-Scan-Shipping™: A special shipping process (pick-pack-ship) in pixi*, which enables a fast and effective shipment of 1-item orders.
1-Item Orders: These are orders with only one item ordered (individual order line where the quantity equals 1).
1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist: A special picklist that is created for 1-item orders only.
1-Scan-Shipping™ Direct Scan-In: An additional feature that allows 1-Scan-Shipping™ when no picklist has been created. Items from 1-item orders can be scanned directly in the Scan-In tab.

Configuration
Enable this feature
The 1-Scan-Shipping feature is an optional extension and can only be activated by pixi Support via the database setting 1-Scan-Shipping (pixi Control Center > Database Settings > Shipping). If this setting is deactivated, it is not possible to use 1-Scan-Shipping.
Automatic Ship-Out
If you want the creation of the invoice for 1-item orders to happen automatically with ship-out - this means that the status of the order line is set to AUS, and e.g. the shipping confirmation email is sent to the customer, then you have the option to activate the automatic ship-out.
The automatic Ship-Out of 1-Scan-Shipping™ can be activated by the administrator in the pixi* Control Center: pixi* Control Center> Database Settings> Shipping folder> 1-Scan-Shipping Automatic Ship-Out option. This setting is enabled by default.
Note: The automatic 1-Scan-Shipping™ Ship-Out works with all available shipping vendors. The specific settings in the pixi* Control Center > Tables tab > Shipping Vendors > ScanOut when creating Invoice option for 1-item orders are overwritten.
Specific shipping vendor settings for automatic Ship-Out
If you disable the automatic 1-Scan-Shipping™ Ship-Out, the specific shipping vendor settings for automatic shipping will be reactivated. You can change these settings in the pixi* Control Center: Tables tab > Shipping Vendors > ScanOut when creating invoice option. To activate the automatic Scan-Out when creating the invoice, this checkbox must be activated for the respective shipping service provider.
Include 1-item bundles
1-Scan-Shipping™ can also be used to ship orders containing only one bundle consisting of just one item. To enable this feature, open the pixi* Control Center and click the Database Settings tab. In the Shipping folder, enable the option 1-Scan-Shipping Include bundle with only one item.
Settings of the 1-Scan-Shipping™-Picklist
In the shipping/logistics section, you can make changes to the default values of a 1-Scan-Shipping picklist.
