pixi 24.09

pixi 24.09 is available from 3 September 2024. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations. Reference the numbers in parentheses if you have any questions for support. You can download the latest full installer after the database update on pixi Web under Administration > Downloads.


Hotfix

We released a hotfix for pixi Mobile 24.09 (v 24.9.1) on 9 September 2024.

🟩 Bug fix: We resolved a barcode scanning issue that occurred on Zebra devices operating on Android 13. (1094211)

🟩 Bug fix: pixiPicklistProfileGet did not return any results in the correct XML format. (961614)

🟩 Bug fix: After using pixiCreateDirectInvoice, the utilized boxes were not deleted. (1042438)


pixi Messaging

🟩 Bug fix: If multiple shipping labels were required, there was a potential issue where a new label could be generated for each request, even if all labels were requested for the same package. The issue was resolved and the documentation for pixiEXRequestPackageLabel was updated. (1047577)

🟪 Enhancement: The messaging event pixiExStockMovement is now documented. (1061477)

🟪 Enhancement: Please note, the events “MailCreated”, “RequestEntityRetrieve”, “POSInvoiceCreated” will be deprecated at a later date. (1061477)


pixi Mobile

General

🟪 Enhancement: pixi Mobile is compatible with Android 14 (API Level 34). (1063743)


Picklist

🟩 Bug fix: The setting for quantity confirmation did not apply for transport bins. (1055123)


Relocate

🟩 Bug fix: The correct label, "Target bin or another item", is now displayed above the input field when relocating items using batch management. Previously, the label incorrectly displayed as "Item Code". (1049294)

Returns

🟪 Enhancement: Permission to access photos and media is no longer required on mobile devices running Android version 13 or higher. Restrictions apply for devices with a version below Android 13. (1065216)

Administration (Licenses)

🟩 Bug fix: The line for flexible licenses is now displayed above the fixed licenses. (1025531)


Administration (Tags)

🟩 Bug fix: The pagination was missing from the Tags page. (1056422)


Controlling (Reporting BETA)

🟪 Enhancement: The standard layout (system layout) is now available for all reports in the Purchasing group. (1039388)

🟪 Enhancement: The report for undelivered items, Not delivered items (overdue), was moved. It is now located under Purchasing. (1063617)

🟪 Enhancement: The relative date is now supported when entering dates in the profile options. A relative date refers to a date that is specified in relation to another point in time, such as “in three days” or “one week ago” from today. (1068587, 1068589, 1068590)





🟪 Enhancement: The option to download a report as a JSON file is only available for administrators. The option is hidden for users without permission. (1069616)Enhancement: A new data set group is available: Accounting. Therefore, two reports were moved from the Customer Service group to the new Accounting group. 🟪 Enhancement: A new database setting is available: Record limit for reports. The maximum number of records that can be contained in both, the generated report and the downloaded file, is limited to 200,000 by default. Customer Service (Offers)

🟩 Bug fix: On the detail page of an offer, the label “Order: 123456” is now correctly displayed as "Order no. 123456". (1061654)


General

🟩 Bug fix: The user interface of Stock and Goods Receipt is now improved. When you log in to pixi Web and view the details of a Goods Receipt, the height of the sections no longer changes when you edit them. Additionally, the vertical lines on the Stock page now extend to the end of the page. (1050150)

🟪 Enhancement: A new stock movement operation was created for picking items to transport bins. The operation is visible in the Bin History. (1035529)


Items (Item Management)

🟩 Bug fix: When filtering by tags on the Items page in pixi Web and adding a new tag to an item, all tags were visually removed from the filter, even though they remained active. (1054250)

🟪 Enhancement: A new column titled "7" is now available on the overview page, displaying sold items for the last 7 days. (1062296)


Logistics (Picklists)

🟪 Enhancement: A new parameter is available for picklist creation: Disable picklist split in case of batch management. When enabled, all items are consolidated into a single picklist, even if the items are located in multiple bins. If this parameter is disabled (the default setting), the system will continue to split the picklist by bin when items with batch data are stored across multiple bins. Please read the information in our documentation for the correct stock deduction. (1062157)


Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟩 Bug fix: An error message is displayed when an invalid package type is scanned during the 1SS Scan-In and Ship-Out process (both Single Package and Multiple Packages). If a valid package type is scanned, it will be used for the ship-out process. (1022417)

🟩 Bug fix: Certain package types could not be scanned in the Mozilla Firefox web browser. (1063604)

🟦 Optimization: Several optimizations were made to the scan-in process to improve performance and prevent locking. (1057937)

Control Center

ShipRush Integration

🟩 Bug fix: If High Volume 1SS shipping was used with ShipRush, pixi did not send the package dimensions to ShipRush. (1053690)
