Short Description
This report displays the gross profit per sold item based on the FiFo principle for a definable time period. To access the report, go to Controlling > Reports and create a report profile (Gross Profit Hist is located in the Sales report group). Then generate the report using procedure: Report_GrossProfit_Hist.
Available Parameters
The following parameters are available for this report:
From - To: Define the time range for the report.
Shop: Select a specific shop. If left empty, all shops will be included.
Category: Select a specific category. If left empty, all categories will be included.
Supplier: Select a specific supplier. If left empty, all suppliers will be included.
Tag1/2/3: Use up to three tags to limit the report to items associated with these tags.
Results
Invoice Number: Displays the invoice number associated with the item sale.
Sales: Quantity of the item sold as per the associated invoice.
Returns: Quantity of returned items for the associated invoice.
Total: Sold quantity minus returns.
Unit Supplier Price: Supplier Price per unit, based on the invoice.
Unit Selling Price: Selling price per unit, based on the invoice (excluding VAT).
Total Selling Price: Net sum of all selling prices (excluding VAT).
Gross Profit I: Gross profit for the item.
Additional Information
Gross profit is calculated as:
Sum of Selling Prices - VAT - Supplier PriceThe values in the Unit Supplier Price column are calculated and displayed based on the historical FiFo Supplier Price.
The values in the Unit Selling Price column are based on the invoice line items and do not include VAT.
Since it is not possible to allocate shipping costs, manual invoices/credits, or discounts/vouchers at the item level, these are listed at the end of the report as separate item entries:

The following warnings may be displayed in the report:
Goods Receipt not enabled: Goods receipt for the item is not tracked in pixi.
Insufficient Goods Receipts for the selected period: Fewer goods receipts occurred for the item in the selected period than the total stock on hand.
Stock quantity not sufficient for the selected period: More goods receipts occurred for the item than were physically available in stock during the selected period.
No goods receipts available for the item – current Supplier Price used: No goods receipts were recorded for this item during the selected period, so the current Supplier Price is used.
Goods receipts exist that are not in status “Invoiced”; Supplier Prices may still change: Goods receipts exist for the selected period that have not yet reached the Invoiced status. As a result, Supplier Prices in this report may still change.
