The section Administration > Tables > Bins in pixi Web contains all of your shops in pixi. Here you have the option to edit settings that affect the invoicing of the respective shops. Furthermore, you can create shipping seals and use the code snippets to embed them in your shop's website.
Activation for Users
Two different permissions are available for the Bins page:
Bins: Allows access to the “Bins” page and printing labels.
Manage bins: Allows to create, edit and delete bins.
How to enable the permission(s) for the desired role:
In pixi Web, go to Administration > User Administration > Roles.
Select the role.
Scroll to the General section. Click Edit.
Tick the checkbox for Bins or Manage bins.
Click Save.
Overview page
The Bins page displays a list of bins with various information. You can perform the following actions on this page:
Sort the bins by clicking on any column heading. A small arrow indicates the sorting direction: ascending or descending. The sort order is retained until you refresh the page or change it manually.
Filter the bins by entering a value in the three-dot menu of a column header. Only the bins that match your filter criteria will then be displayed in the list. To deactivate the filter, delete the value from the column header.
Change the order of the columns by dragging and dropping them. The column order is retained until you refresh the page or change it manually.
Print bin labels by selecting one or more bins and clicking the Print bin label button. A pop-up window appears in which you can select the template, the printer and the number of copies for the labels.
The following columns are available on the overview page:
Name: The name of the bin.
Location: The code of the location where the bin is located.
Max. Items: The maximum number of items that can be stored in the bin.
Sort no.: The sort number of the bin, which determines the order of the bins in the list.
Bin group: The group of the bin, e.g. A, B or C.
Transport bin: A yes/no value that indicates whether the bin is a transport bin or not.
Created: The date and time the bin was created.
Created by: The name of the user who created the bin.
Modified: The date and time the bin was last changed.
Modified by: The name of the user who last changed the bin.
Creating a Bin
On the Bins page, you have the option of creating new bins. To do this, follow these steps:
Click the + button (Create new bin). A pop-up window opens.

Enter a name in the pop-up window (max. 50 characters) and select the location for your new bin.
If you enter a combination of name and location that already exists, a validation message is displayed:
The name must be unique. Please also note the DB setting: Filter Stock Operations With Location.
OFF - Bin bin names are unique.
e.g.: Bin 1 can only exist at location 001.
ON - The same bin names can exist at different locations
e.g.: Bin1 can exist in both location 001 and location 002.
Click Create.
The bin was created.
Creating a Transport Bin
On the Bins page, you have the option of creating new transport bins. To do this, follow these steps:
Click the + button (Create new bin). A pop-up window opens.

Enter a name in the pop-up window (max. 50 characters) and select the location for your new bin.
If you enter a combination of name and location that already exists, a validation message is displayed:
The name must be unique. Please also note the DB setting: Filter Stock Operations With Location.
OFF - Bin bin names are unique.
e.g.: Bin 1 can only exist at location 001.
ON - The same bin names can exist at different locations
e.g.: Bin1 can exist in both location 001 and location 002.
Click Create.
Open the Settings tab and click Edit.
Enable the option Transport bin.
Click Save.
The transport bin was created.
Editing a Bin
On the Bins page, you have the option of editing bins. To do this, follow these steps:
In the Name column, click on the name of the bin you wish to edit.

Now go to the bin details page and click on the pencil icon. The following details can now be edited:
Name: The name of the bin.
Location: The location in which the bin is located.
Max. Items: The maximum number of items that can be in the bin.
Sort number: The number used to define the pick path.
Bin group: Specifies the storage group.
Transport bin: Check the box if the bin is to be used as a transport bin.
Click on Save.
Deleting a Bin
On the Bins page, you have the option of deleting bins. To do this, follow these steps:
In the column with the checkboxes, click on one or more of these boxes, depending on which bins you want to delete.
Click on the bin icon in the action bar at the top. Note: The icon is grayed out until bins have been selected.
A pop-up window is displayed. Click Confirm to delete the bins.
The bins were deleted.
Force Update of Bins List
On the Bins page, you can trigger a forced update of the Bins list. This update will reflect the changes made in pixi Desktop within pixi Web. To do this, follow these steps:
Go to Administration > Tables > Bins.
Click on the refresh icon in the action bar.
Read and close the info message.
The update process was triggered and will be reflected accordingly.
Printing Bin Labels
You can print bin labels on the Bins page. To do this, follow these steps:
To print bin labels, you must activate the database setting Enable Bin Admin. If this setting is deactivated, the Print bin labels button is also deactivated.
Click on one or more of these boxes in the column with the checkboxes, depending on which bin labels you want to print.
Then click on the printer icon (Print bin label).

A pop-up window opens in which you can select the following:
Template: Select the type of label you want to print. You can choose from all the templates available on the Templates page under the Bin label. On this page you also have the option of creating, editing or deleting new labels.
Printer: The printers of the individual shipping stations are listed in the drop-down list.
Number of labels: Enter the number of labels you want to print. You can also change the value using the arrows
Click Print.
