pixi 24.02 is available from 6 February 2024. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.
Hotfix 2
We released a hotfix for pixi Mobile as version 24.2.2 on 5 March 2024.
pixi Mobile > Scan-In
🟩 Bug fix: The input field for the box was missing in the Scan-In program if transport bins were used for picking. Accordingly, with this hotfix: (986953)
for users that have to to confirm the box: the input field for the box number is always displayed.
for users that do not have to confirm the box: the Next item option is always displayed until the last item of a picklist was scanned from the transport bin. If the last item from the transport bin's picklist has been scanned, only the NEXT button is displayed.
We also fixed issues that caused the application to crash.
🟩 Bug fix: Additional issues resolved in the Scan-In program: (980122)
After an item was scanned into the input field for the next item and NEXT was pressed, the screen for the item code appeared briefly.
If only one transport bin is assigned, the BACK button now redirects users from any screen back to the list of open picklists in Scan-In. If the picklist has more than one transport bin assigned, the user is redirected back to the transport bin selection.

pixi Mobile
Cross Docking
🟪 Enhancement: The cross docking process was improved to provide a better overview of open customer orders. The basic idea is to place items for which there are already open customer orders in bins that are closer to shipping stations. First, the pixi checks whether stock is available and compares the amount with open orders. If there are more open orders than the current stock level covers, the stock that is about to be sent is allocated to the open orders. There are two different options in this context: (933538)
-
The goods receipt document uses a purchase orders as a template
-
Open customer orders with missing stock are grouped into normal orders (quantity of the item is more than 1 or if the customer order contains other items) and 1SS orders (an item with quantity 1). The items no longer have to be scanned in individually. They can be confirmed by entering a quantity in one step.
Orders with reservation have priority
1SS orders are displayed first
-
-
The goods receipt document is created without a template (as before)
-
Open customer orders are checked and displayed individually (quantities on open customer orders are not combined)
Orders with reservations have priority
If there are no more reserved orders, the unreserved orders are checked (oldest first)

Transport bin empty: If some items are missing, the missing stock can be reported with the option Transport bin empty (three-dot menu).
Important: Scan-In using transport bins is only supported for pixi Mobile or pixi Web but not for pixi Desktop Shipping.
🟪 Enhancement: When a number is scanned that can be assigned to a picklist or a transport bin, pixi prompts the user to indicate what was scanned in a popup. Tip: To avoid double naming related issues, add a prefix to all transport bin names (e.g. "tbin" -> "tbin001"). (974993)
