pixi 23.05

pixi 23.05 is available from 9 May 2023. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


API

🟪 Enhancement: The API call pixiSetItemSupplier was changed. The ItemNrInt parameter can only be used to identify the item. If a new supplier is to be added with the API call pixiSetItemSupplier, the ItemNrInt that is already in the system is used for the new supplier. That means, the shop item number will be assigned to the new supplier. (770211)

🟦 Optimization: pixiReportStockSalesOverview was optimized, to run faster when it is executed several times in a row. (741023)


pixi Mobile

Scan in and Put-to-Box

🟩 Bug fix: The error message that the scanned barcode does not match the standard code type has been removed. (768277)


Web Application

Administration (Amazon IDU)

🟪 Enhancement: Minor improvements to the Amazon SP API authorisation (e.g. current status of authorisation on page load, link to SP login page, etc.). (752578)


General

🟨 New Functionalities: Various new features published under pixi Early Access are now generally available: (773106)

  • Customer Service > Customers migrated from Angular JS to Angular 11.

  • Administration > Tables > Shipping Vendors which features all Shipping Vendor settings from the Control Center.

  • Administration > Licences contain information about currently used, flexible and fixed licenses.

Merge Customers will soon be released for general availability.

🟪 Enhancement: The Multi Domain Login Page (MDLP) is available for all pixi Web users. Due to this change, all Desktop apps must be started from pixi Web (Home page > Desktop Applications box on the right side). This change prevents a user from using two licenses on one computer. (757479, 763817)

Note: The login via MDLP affects the allowed characters in user names as they cannot contain umlauts and apart from alphanumeric characters only selected special characters are allowed. Click here for detailed requirements.


Logistics (Scan-In)

🟪 Enhancement: When scanning in without a pick list, the box (number) can now be set manually. To do this, a box is scanned on the Scan-In page and then the item(s). Boxes can be reset by entering the word "box" in the field. (663247)

🟪 Enhancement: When scanning an item without a Picklist, batch information must be provided if the tags BN and/or BBD are assigned to an item. (762557)


Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟩 Bug fix: If no data for a shipping label was available, pixi still attempted to print a label for an order. (748154)


Purchasing (Purchase Orders)

🟩 Bug fix: The detail view at the bottom of the page did not update when items were deleted or added. The supplier order must be in status NEW or ORD. (751386)


Desktop Applications

Connector

🟪 Enhancement: A new setting is available in the pixiToolboxSettings.json configuration file: PixiWebURL. With pixi 23.05, on-premise customers must store this setting in their configuration file. It is used to bypass the specification of the URL in the login process at the Connector. (761317)

Control Center

Import & Export

🟩 Bug fix: When adding a Supplier via pixi Web or API, the existing item codes were overwritten. A new setting was added to prevent this behavior: Keep Existing Supplier Data on Item Import. When this setting is enabled, existing supplier data (esp. item codes) remains in the database. For newly added suppliers, new records are created. Note: This behavior will lead to multiple records of the same supplier in the database. If suppliers were added by mistake, they need to be deleted via pixi Web (Item Details > Suppliers tab). Tables (Shops)

🟪 Enhancement: The fields Nr Year At End and Inv Include Date Info have been removed. Services are not affected. (434686)


Payments

🟩 Bug fix: When creating Invoices, an error was displayed if the database setting Save PDF Invoices/Reminders was disabled because an attempt was made to upload the PDFs. The upload step will be skipped from now on. (746044)

🟩 Bug fix: Not all invoices were taken into account when creating reminders with the option Create one reminder for all invoices of a customer enabled. (739789)
