Depending on how much and how often you order at suppliers or how well you were negotiating with suppliers, you get certain buying conditions. You can save these buying conditions as general conditions per supplier and as specific buying conditions per item. This information is used by pixi* to automatically create supplier order suggestions and to automatically apply buying conditions that were reached (block price discounts, no shipping costs, etc.). When creating supplier order suggestions pixi* first checks and applies the item-specific buying conditions, and then the general supplier buying conditions that can be applied to the whole supplier order. Additionally, pixi* provides information you can use to optimize a supplier order. Based on this information, you can modify supplier orders manually to reach specific buying conditions.
Buying conditions for a supplier
You can maintain the following buying conditions for each supplier:
Minimum order amount: If you order more than the minimum order amount, your supplier doesn't charge the special surcharge for small orders.
Minimum order amount surcharge: you have to pay this surcharge for small orders if you don't reach the Minimum order amount.
Block prices: Supplier gives you an additional discount if you reach the first definite supplier order total. Supplier then gives you an additional discount for each additional supplier order total reached. Note: If there are multiple block prices with the same amount (e.g. 100€) but different discounts (e.g. 10% and 50€) in the same time frame, the latest entered block price is used when applying buying conditions for supplier orders.
Freight costs by supplier order: The amount of freight costs that this supplier normally charges for delivering a supplier order.
Free of freight limit: If a supplier order total reaches this limit, you don't have to pay the Freight costs by supplier order.
Bonus: Supplier gives you an additional discount when the sum of order amounts reaches the first definite value. Supplier then gives you an additional discount for each additional value reached. You have to manually check if you already reached one of the entered values.

Buying conditions for an item
General buying conditions which are independent from suppliers:
Packing units: An item can be bought in a package with several units of this item.
Buying conditions for an item which can be negotiated with each supplier separately:
Minimum order quantity: You must order at least the minimum quantity of an item when you order at this supplier.
Item Delivery Time: Supplier delivery time for this item in days.
Only packing units: Packing units must always be applied for this item when supplier order suggestions are created.
Block prices: Supplier gives you an additional discount if you reach the first definite item total or quantity in a supplier order. Supplier then gives you an additional discount for each additional item total or quantity reached. Note: If there are multiple block prices with the same amount (e.g. 100€) but different discounts (e.g. 10% and 50€) in the same time frame, the latest entered block price is used when applying buying conditions for supplier orders.
Bonus: Supplier gives you an additional discount if the sum of item total from all supplier orders reaches the first definite value. Supplier then gives you an additional discount for each additional value reached.

Buying conditions for a supplier order
Initially, when you create an order or when an order is created by supplier order suggestions, supplier and item buying conditions are automatically applied. Additionally, you can then set certain buying conditions per supplier order which will override the corresponding supplier buying conditions:
Discount: If you enter the discount manually, any discount which was calculated according to block prices will be ignored.
