In pixi* Customer Service address data of invoices and credits can be edited after generation.
Activation of this Function
For legal reasons, this feature can only be activated by pixi* Support in the database settings. Please contact servicedesk@descartes.com and then send us the signed agreement for subsequent editing of invoices, which can be found in the my.pixi* App under Downloads > Documents > Agreements.
How to Edit Address Data
If the functionality to change invoices is activated, the invoice or shipping addresses can be edited in the Invoice Details in the Invoices tab.
To edit the data, proceed as follows:
Click on the button Edit Billing Address or Edit Shipping Address.
Edit the appropriate data.
Click OK.
Info: If the invoice is already in PDF format on the document server, this PDF invoice will be deleted with change of the address so that it can be uploaded again the next time the invoice is reprinted.
For credits, the billing address can be edited in the Details section in the Credits tab.
The corresponding histories contain the information about:
Address data of the original invoice
Comments for edited invoices
Information on the user that edited the invoice.
Edit of Data with Deactivated Function
If you don't want to use the function "Edit Billing Data", proceed as follows:
Return the original invoice. This also changes the status of the orderlines to RET.
Manually re-create the associated order.
Adjust the address data.
Create the invoice via Direct Invoice Printing.
Changing Address Data for Invoices and Credits
You can change invoices and credits in pixi Web. The shipping address and billing address of an order can be edited as long as the order was not shipped. Editing both shipping and billing addresses at the same time is not possible. Additionally, there's a dropdown for Available Shipping Addresses (incl. a tooltip) at the top of the section. You can choose one of the last 10 shipping addresses of this customer. When an address is selected from this dropdown, the fields are updated.
