Template Changes

With the Invoice Template Editor in pixi* Invoices you can change your templates for invoices, delivery notes, etc. Make sure you have pixi* installed on your computer and the C:\pixi\templates folder exists.

Important:

  • Create a back-up version before making changes to any of the templates.

  • You make independent changes to bill templates at your own risk. pixi* does not provide any guarantee.

  • Adjustments carried out by the pixi* support are chargeable.

Available Templates

  • Invoice: ###shopname###.rtm

  • Credit: ###shopname###_credit.rtm

  • Deloivery Note: ###shopname###_ps.rtm

If you would like to print a second page for the invoice, for example: returns slip or an additional order form, the template 2 ### shopname ###. Rtm will be created.

Example:

  • Shopname: DEM

  • Template name: 2DEM.rtm

If you'd like to print further pages with the invoice, the template names will follow this logic: 3shopname, 4shopname, etc.

Preview

If you have customized your invoice template to your liking, you can always look at a preview of your template. Switch to the upper area in the Preview tab.

The display of the data now depends on whether or not you have entered an invoice number in the text field before starting the Invoice Template Editor (Step 3).

  • If you enter an invoice number, the data of this invoice will be used in the invoice template editor to display the preview.

  • If you do not enter a bill number, the data of the last created invoice will be used in the Invoice Template Editor to display the preview.

Thus, no more invoices need to be reprinted to get a preview of the customized invoice template.
