Important information on the pixi Accounting Export App 2.0:
- End of Life (30 April 2024):
The pixi Accounting Export App 2.0 will be officially discontinued on 30 April 2024.

The functionalities of the app have already been migrated to pixi Web with the recent releases.

API

🟨 New Feature: A new API call is available: pixiGetBoxItems. The call returns the contents of the box (order line, order number, name and item code of the item, quantity, date of scanning, user who performed the scanning, picklist number). (960305)

🟨 New Feature: A new API call is available: pixiCreateInvoice. The call can be used to create an invoice for a box. Required parameters are box number (BoxNr) and ID of the location (LocId). Optional parameter is UserName. If not specified, "API" is used as the user name. In the future, this call will be available as pixi Premium API call. (960307)

🟩 Bug fix: pixiGetSupplierOrder now returns the supplier price from the requested order line. Previously, the default supplier price of the items was returned. Please note that discounts on the order line are not taken into account. The following additional fields have also been added to the response and are now available: (970323)

  • DeliveryLocation

  • ExtOrderNo

  • SupplierOrderId

  • SupplierOrderlineId

🟩 Bug fix: If a new purchase order was created with pixiSupplierOrderLineCreate, the values for the order lines total (€) and amount to be paid (€) were not updated or recalculated. (957094)

🟩 Bug fix: For API Call pixiCreateInvoice, a new error message was added for cases when the invoice creation failed due to a "Ship lock" set for the order in the box. Additionally, error messages for other scenarios such as an empty box, incorrect box number and an already existing invoice were refined. (984708)

🟩 Bug fix: The API call pixiGetChangedItemStock_LocID did not search for available items in stock in the specified location. Now, if the LOCID parameter is sent, the available stock at this location is now returned. Previously, the available stock was displayed for all locations. (954793)

🟩 Bug fix: Deleting picklists with the API call pixiShippingGetPicklistHeaders did not work. (950036)

🟪 Enhancement: The API call pixiCreatePicklist was modified to support the creation of picklists for a profile where the new parameter Enable Box Physically Full for Pick-to-Box is enabled. (965651)

🟪 Enhancement: If no BBD and/or batch number was stored for an item, pixiGetItemStockBins did not return any results. To avoid misunderstandings, the call now returns an empty string if the data is missing. (971084)

pixi Messaging

🟪 Enhancement: A new messaging event is available: ScanInBoxPhysicallyFull. (960308)

  • boxKey: A unique identifier for the selected box.

  • boxNumber: The designated number or code associated with the selected box.

  • locationId: The physical location within the Stock where the event was triggered.

  • binName: The name of the bin from which the last item was picked

  • binSortNum: The sort number of the bin from which the last item was picked

  • userName: The name of the user who triggered the event by marking the box as full.

pixi Mobile

Pick to Box

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, picklists were displayed as completed even though not all items were scanned. (965965)

🟪 Enhancement: A new option is available in the three dots menu: Box physically full. If you scan several items of an order and there is no more room in the box for another item, you can now mark the box as physically full, which means that the next available box can be used for scanning the next items of this order. Please note the following: (960304, 973539, 961621)

  • The functionality is controlled via the new database setting Box physically full (available in the Shipping folder).

  • In this context, there is also a new picklist parameter Box physically full. The parameter is visible only when the database setting Box Physically Full is enabled.

  • If you enable this parameter for the creation of picklists, you must set both "Minimum number of orders" and "Maximum number of orders" to 1.

Notes:
-
At least one item must be scanned before the functionality can be used.
- Automatic invoicing does not work for such boxes. You must create the invoice manually for the box.

Replenishment

🟪 Enhancement: Completed replenishment documents that are older than 31 days are automatically deleted. The determining start date is the date of the last change. (945195)

🟪 Enhancement: If a transport bin is assigned to a replenishment document, it cannot be used for any other replenishment document until the entire replenishment process was completed and the document is closed. (959241)

Web Application

Administration (Licenses)

🟪 Enhancement: Enhancements for Licenses: (947498)

  • All users with permission to access the Licenses page can release mobile licenses.

  • If all licenses are in use and a user logs in to pixi Web

    • without permission to access Licenses (Web pixi), an error message is displayed (number of licenses exceeded). This error message is also displayed if the user tries to access other pages.

    • with permission to access Licenses (Web pixi), the user is redirected to the Licenses page. This redirect also occurs if the user tries to access other pages. Please note that the redirect only serves information purposes. The user cannot release licenses for pixi Web.

Administration (User Administration)

🟩 Bug fix: A typographical error was fixed in the German UI. (981518)

🟩 Bug fix: The asterisk (*) was removed from the user role pixi Administrator. (977633)

Customer Service (General)

🟦 Optimization: Retrieving customer orders has been optimized, as it could take more than 20 seconds until the list was displayed. (986194)

🟩 Bug fix: Open customer orders in status FUT, where the reservation is enabled, were not taken into account when calculating the available stock (including reservations). Please note that order lines in status FUT are sent directly from the Suppliers to the end customer, therefore they do not reduce the available stock in pixi. (752235)

Customer Service (Invoices and Credits)

🟪 Enhancement: The fields for Tracking IDs and Returns Tracking IDs can now be edited in pixi Web. This allows manually adding the values for tracking in the Packages tab. (947399)

General

🟪 Enhancement: Support for GS-128 code type was improved for the case when the barcode includes additional data. Item code, BN and BBD are properly parsed. Any additional values are ignored. (939645)

🟪 Enhancement: If a session cookie expires while pixi Web is used, a new session cookie is created. This prevents the session from being interrupted. (982210)

🟪 Enhancement: The default language is now German. The default browser language option has been removed. The language setting for newly created users is based on the language setting of the creator. (946170)

Item Management (Items)

🟩 Bug fix: The rounding of the available item quantity in the bundle was incorrect if a bundle item had a negative available stock. (783517)

Logistics (Goods Receipts)

🟩 Bug fix: Navigating with arrow keys was not possible. (919237)

Logistics (Boxes)

🟨 New Feature: Invoices and partial invoices can now be created manually from boxes. This functionality is linked to the new permission Create partial invoice on the web. This permission has been added under the Invoices group to all roles. More: (967725)

  • Manual invoice creation: You can now create partial invoices directly in the web application in the box list and on the details page. This allows more flexibility in managing your invoicing process.

  • Print button: If there is no invoice for a selected box, you can use the Print button, which allows you to create an invoice. A pop-up window will guide you through the process if you are authorized to do so.

  • Printer check: If no printers have been defined yet, pixi will ask you to check the Pixi Connector to ensure smooth printing.

Important note: This functionality has only been changed for users with this permission. If you select the Invoices and Credits 'Do not print' print option on the Shipping Station page, the Print button will be enabled, the invoice will be created but not printed. For users without this authorization, nothing changes and the Print button is still disabled if they select the 'Do not print' option.

Logistics (Picklists)

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, picklists could not be printed. (985641)

🟪 Enhancement: The Create button is grayed out until a valid EAN is entered next to the enabled Only for Single item (EAN) option. (949070)

🟪 Enhancement: A new picklist parameter is available: Box Physically Full. This parameter allows the shipping process with multiple boxes. If during picking, the box has no more space for items, this option can be used in pixi Mobile. This functionality currently only supports picklists with one order. The Min/Max parameters ensure that the picklist created consists of one order. Know Issue: If a picklist profile is changed at a later point, the values for Min/Max do not change, even if the database setting Enable Box Physically Full for Pick to Box is disabled. This means that a single order picklist will still be created under the profile. (965519, 960306)

Logistics (Scan-In)

🟩 Bug fix: Orders with items in several transport bins could not be closed. (974167)

🟦 Optimizations: The following areas have been optimized for performance during scan-in: (910000)

  • API call pixiGetSOrderlines

  • Desktop report Stock movements for items with BN/BBD

  • Calculation of available stock for bundles

Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟪 Enhancement: Tracking IDs and Return Tracking IDs can now be added and edited in Ship-Out. (947399)

Purchasing (Purchase Orders)

🟩 Bug fix: If the creation of an attachment fails, the error log on the server shows which file type could not be created.

Note: This information is not displayed in the error message for the user. (961555)

Desktop Applications

Connector

🟪 Enhancement: A new setting for pixiToolboxSettings.json is available: ResetClientNotified. When the new setting ResetClientNotified is set to True, the import of a new tracking number for a package/invoice via pixi Connector now prepares only the included items for export to the shop.

Note: ResetClientNotified must be added to every profile individually! (960823)

Control Center

Auto emails

🟩 Bug fix: DLF mails did not contain order lines that were partially sent. (969933)

Import & Export

🟩 Bug fix: At item import, the CNT code instead of the ISO2 code was saved in the ITEMS table. (910408)

🟩 Bug fix: When data was exported in XML format, the placeholder $$$data$$$ in export URL /export/view/$$$session$$$/pix_uitem/?data=$$data$$$ was not replaced with data. (985936)

🟪 Enhancement: The manufacturer of an item was overwritten during an item export, even if no value was transferred. With this release: (978147)

  • The manufacturer of items is now only updated from item imports if there is a value in the XML file.

  • If the XML file only contains spaces or is empty, the manufacturer name is not updated in pixi.

  • If a manufacturer name is present in the XML file, it will be inserted in pixi Web to ensure consistency between imported data and the display in the user interface.

🟦 Optimization: The cleanup of old XMLs has been improved. Previously, only XMLs with the status OK and ERROR that were older than X days were removed. Now all XMLs older than X days are removed, regardless of their status. (904871)

Inventory

🟩 Bug fix: The error message was not shown when a user tried to take an item from stock, which was already fully allocated to a picklist. (978108)

Reports

🟩 Bug fix: The stock movement type Neutral inventory (0400) was not displayed in the stock movements report. (951181)

🟪 Enhancement: A new filter is now available in the Stock value FIFO report: Show all items related to this supplier. When the parameter is enabled, pixi lists all items that are associated with the selected supplier. If disabled, pixi only lists the items for which the supplier is defined as the current supplier. (953215)
