In pixi, lists are often used to display objects and other information. In general, there are two types of lists: editable and read-only. To a certain extent, lists can be customized according to your needs. Customizations that you make to a specific list will be saved with your user profile.
Keyboard navigation
Keyboard navigation and editing is available in editable lists. Working with the keyboard enables you to enter or change data quickly.
Use arrow keys to move the selection up-down or left-right in editable lists.
Press Enter on the selected field to make it editable. After editing, press Enter again to confirm your changes or press Esc if you want to cancel your changes.
Note: Fields in columns with bold column title are editable.
Selecting Rows
Editable lists
Select a row (or multiple rows) by clicking directly on the checkbox at the beginning of the row.
Press CTRL+A to select all rows on the current page.
Read-only lists
Click a row to select it.
To select multiple rows:
Hold the SHIFT key and click another row to select a span of rows. If you want to exclude a row from the selection, hold CTRL and click a row to deselect it.
Hold the CTRL key and click additional rows to select individual additional rows.
Press CTRL+A to select all rows on the current page.
Note: You can select more than one row only in lists where you can perform actions on multiple rows. In such cases, there are checkboxes available in the beginning of each row.
Paging and Number of Rows
By default, 50 rows are displayed on one page of a list. You can choose to further increase rows per page to 100 or 250. To select the number of displayed rows, select a number in the drop-down list in the Page Controls.
Sorting
To sort a list in ascending or descending order by a column, click the column heading. In some lists it is possible to sort by multiple columns. For example, in the Supplier Orders you can sort first by Status and then Created date to have the latest created supplier order in status NEW on top.
Note: Sorting affects the entire list, not just the displayed page.
Add, Remove or Reorder Columns
Click Edit column settings to open the Select Columns dialog.
On the left you see the list of available columns and on the right you see the list of selected columns which will be displayed in the list.
Add Columns: Hover over a column and then click + to add it. Alternatively, drag a column to the right or double-click it. To add all available columns, click Add all.
Remove Columns: Hover over a column and then click - to remove it. Alternatively, drag a column to the left or double-click it. To remove all columns, click Remove all.
Reorder columns: Drag one of the selected columns up or down to a new position. To reorder columns directly in the list, click and drag the column heading to a different position.
Reset Layout: The overview displays all available columns. Resetting the layout removes the saved layout for the user, while layouts in other overviews remain unaffected.
Note: If a user is permitted to see certain columns (e.g. supplier price), but these are not displayed directly in the overview, the problem can be resolved by resetting the layout.
Search through a list
In each list you can use the Filter Builder to construct your search. Additionally, if available for a list, you can use Advanced Search.
You are able to see if a list has been filtered (View x - y of z (Filtered)) in the status bar.
