Per GDPR regulations, you can mask customer data from the Customer Service > Customers list page.
Warning: Once a customer is masked, that customer's data are not recoverable as all personal data gets replaced by "xxx".
In the navigation, click Customer Service, then click Customers.
Select a customer from the list.
From the toolbar, click More > Mask Customer Data. The Masking Customer Data window displays.
Enter a reason for masking the customer and click Mask. The system checks if the customer has any open invoices or if there are any invoices less than 10 years old.
If neither condition is true, a confirmation dialog is returned notifying the user that, once masked, the customer data are not recoverable.

Masked customers and customers marked for masking are displayed with a special icon

in the Masked column.
Note: Hovering over the
icon after marking a customer to be masked will display Mask Date.
