Use of 1-Scan-Shipping™
1-Scan-Shipping™ can be used in one of two ways: 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist or 1-Scan-Shipping™ Direct Scan-In. Once you have retrieved the items from the warehouse, the process is roughly the same:

The item is scanned at the Scan-In station and the 1-Scan-Shipping™ scan has been successfully confirmed.
Note: If the option "Use external label" (pixi ControlCenter > Tables tab > Shipping Vendors table) is activated for a given shipping vendor and an item of a 1-Scan-Shipping™ order is scanned, then pixi* Shipping pauses 2 seconds before the message "Awaiting external label" appears in the ACTION field. As long as this message is displayed, no further action can be performed.
Pack the item immediately, without placing it in the box system.
The invoice is printed immediately.
Stick the label to the package. This is now ready for shipment.
The Ship-Out is completed when an invoice has been scanned at the Ship-Out station.
Use of 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist
Generation of a 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist
You will now see an additional New 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist button in the toolbar in the pixi Shipping tab in the picklist menu/tool bar:
Click the "New 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist button to create a new picklist for all available 1-item orders. You will now see a dialog box:

You can change the settings of the 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist by checking the Show 1-Scan-Shipping Picklists check box.
Now configure the picklist with the available parameters (see also: Picklist generation)
Click the "Create Picklist" button to create the 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist with selected parameters.
If you want to use the default parameters of the 1-Scan-Shipping™ Picklist, clear the checkbox "Show 1-Scan-Shipping Picklists Parameters" and click Yes in the dialog box.
Note: If no 1-item orders are available, no picklist is created. The picklist history appears in the window, informing you that no picklist could be created.
You can start scanning the items from the picklist.
More notes:
- Orders with a delivery date are not covered by 1-Scan-Shipping™. These must be put into a box at the date saved in the system and shipped that day.
- If it is a bundle, this is always placed into the box.
The 1-Scan-Shipping™ picklist differs from the normal picklist in following ways:
1-Scan-Shipping™ logo is displayed in front of the picklist number.
The commentary 1-Scan-Shipping™ is added to the picklist.
The picklist is printed automatically after its generation (not configurable).
Scan-In Using a Picklist
Go to the Scan-In tab in pixi Shipping.
Scan the picklist.
Check whether the picklist number is displayed.
Scan the item.

1-Scan-Shipping™ is displayed in the ACTION and INFO display area while the display area box remains blank.
Info: If a picklist contains items that are spread over several storage bins, the stock of the item is reduced ascending by the sorting number of the storage bin during the Scan-In.
The invoice is printed immediately.
Note: The invoice is printed using the pixi* Invoices application on the same computer as the Scan-In. pixi* Invoices is started automatically. If you received an error message "-1", the application could not be started or has been closed down.
Scan-Out of 1-Scan-Shipping™ orders
Switch to the Ship-Out tab in pixi Shipping and scan the invoice. The process is now complete.

1-Scan-Shipping™ Direct Scan-In
The 1-Scan-Shipping™ can also be used during Scan-In without use of a picklist. Only 1-item orders are accepted.
Access the Scan-In tab.
Enable the setting Direct Scan-In at the right-hand side of the application:
Ensure that you are not using a picklist with Scan-In. To start the Scan-In without picklist, enter "pic" in the Code field.
Scan the item.
With each successful Scan-In the display area is lit in blue. 1-Scan-Shipping™ is displayed in the ACTION and INFO display area while the display area box remains blank.
The invoice is printed immediately.
If you do the Scan-In without a picklist, the item is not subtracted from stock.
Further notes:
- The invoice is printed using the pixi* Invoice application on the same computer that is used to process the Scan-In. pixi* Invoices is started automatically.
- Orders using the delivery date option are not taken into account by 1-Scan-Shipping™. These must be placed into a shipping box at the assigned date and shipped thereafter.
- The 1SS Direct Scan-In can also be used for personalized items.
Scan-Out of 1-Scan-Shipping™ orders
Switch to the Ship-Out tab in pixi Shipping and scan the invoice. The process is now complete.
