pixi 25.08 is available from 5 August 2025. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations. Reference the numbers in parentheses if you have any questions for support. You can download the latest full installer after the database update on pixi Web under Administration > Downloads. pixi 25.09 is released on 02.09.2025.

🟪 Enhancement: pixiGetStandardReturnReasons now includes return reasons defined in the pixi web application. To return only those web-defined reasons and exclude desktop-defined ones, use the new parameter @OnlyReturnReasonsFromPixiWeb (= 1). (1281615)

pixi Mobile
🟨 New Feature: The new feature Pick-to-Light is now available in pixi Mobile, offering a color-based system to streamline the picking process. The functionality is available for Pick-to-Box and Picklists. Note that this, feature is available as a BETA version. Contact the Descartes pixi support for access.
How does Pick-to-Light work?
Each user or device is assigned a unique color.
This color appears in the mobile picking list and is also sent to external systems.
LEDs at storage locations light up in the assigned color, guiding users efficiently during picking.
This enhancement helps multiple pickers work simultaneously without confusion. Each user sees their designated color on the device and at the shelf, reducing errors and increasing speed.

Logistics (Picklists)
🟩 Bug fix: The creation of picklists did not follow the FiFo principle when the Bin Groups parameter was used. This issue has been resolved, and the FiFo logic is now correctly applied in this scenario. (1268592)
🟪 Enhancement: You can now define which picklist profile is used to create picklists directly from the order overview page in the Customer Service area. This enhancement is especially useful when you want to ship large B2B orders. You can define the profile ID in the database settings under the Customer Service folder. To find the profile ID, navigate to Web > Logistics > Picklist, select a profile, and click Edit. The profile ID appears in the URL of your web browser. Note: Parameters for order date (before, after) are not supported and must not be set in the profile defined for picklist creation from the order list. More information. (1154794)

🟪 Enhancement: The error message for Take-from-Stock has been revised for cases where items cannot be taken from stock because they are reserved on a picklist. The updated message now displays the quantity of items available for withdrawal, the quantity reserved for picklists and the total quantity of the items in stock. (1256676)
Purchasing (Supplier Orders)
🟩 Bug fix: We resolved an issue where the purchase order suggestion for the Stock Turnover method did not always include supplier delivery time in the required stock calculation. The new calculation now always accounts for delivery time, even when current stock and open purchase orders cover the specified turnover period. This ensures that purchase suggestions more accurately reflect upcoming needs based on both sales trends and supplier lead times. An updated example and more information can be found here.
