Manage Picklist Profiles in pixi Web

You can create profiles so that you do not have to re-select the parameters for each picklist.

Profiles that were created or edited in the pixi Web and use parameters that are not available in pixi desktop Shipping (e.g. Order Tags) should only be used in the pixi Web!


The available parameters to create a picklist are covered in a separate article: Picklist Parameters


To display the Picklist Settings page:

  1. In the pixi Web application, click Logistics > Picklists.

  2. Click Settings in the main tool bar. Profiles can be managed in the Picklist Profiles tab of the page.


Create new profile

Follow these steps to create one or more profiles:

  1. Click Add to set the parameters for the profile.

  2. Name the profile and add a short Description and define your picklist parameters.

  3. Click Save when finished.

  4. The system displays a notification denoting success or failure.


Edit profiles

Follow these steps to edit a profile:

  1. Select the profile you want to edit and click Edit .

  2. Amend the settings of the respective profile and click Save.

  3. The system displays a notification denoting success or failure.


Duplicate profiles

Follow these steps to duplicate a profile:

  1. Select the profile you want to edit and click Duplicate .

  2. The duplicated profile was added under the name "Copy - {picklist name}".

  3. The system displays a notification whether the duplicate was successfully created.


Delete profiles

Follow these steps to delete a profile:

  1. Select a profile from the list and click Delete .

  2. Confirm the dialog with Delete.

    Note: Picklists created from this profile are not deleted.

  3. The system displays a notification denoting success or failure.


Set default picklist profile

Follow these steps to mark a profile as the default profile. You can only mark one as the default:

  1. Select a profile from the list and click More > Set as Default Profile.
    The default picklist profile is marked with a star .

Parameters form the default profile are used when a picklist is created from parameters (without selecting a profile as a template).

Please note: The default profile that was created in pixi Web is not shown in the picklist creation list in pixi Desktop.
