Descartes® pixi allows early access to certain new functionalities and enhancements to gather feedback before the general release. Features that qualify for early access could be new pages in pixi Web, functionalities in pixi Mobile programs and more.
Functionalities Available via Early Access
If you opt in for early access, the functionalities that are exclusively available to you are marked as "Early Access" features in our release notes. You can try the new functionalities and give feedback to the pixi product teams before we release new features to other customers.
After you sign up, your database will be marked with the Early Access flag. With this flag, your database update will contain new features that are not available to the general pixi customer base. There is no change to the timeline of the database update. The release will follow the usual schedule.

Early Access Sign Up
Early access is available to all Descartes pixi customers. To sign up, contact the Descartes pixi Support servicedesk@descartes.com.
How to Enable Early Access Features for Users
You can grant users in your database access to Early Access features by enabling them in User Administration. If you see new features mentioned in our Release Notes or a BETA label in the pixi user interface, you can activate the feature in the Roles section. The relevant user groups for these new features are specified in the corresponding Release Note.
Early Access Opt Out
Opting out of Early Access is possible at any time. Contact the Descartes pixi Support (servicedesk@descartes.com) to disable Early Access on your database.
