The pixi Web application includes various Warehouse Management System (WMS) functions. Below is a brief overview.
Controlling
The Controlling section in pixi provides comprehensive features for monitoring company performance and supporting finance-related processes. Under Dashboards, users receive a real-time overview of key metrics such as order volume, returns, and net sales. The Accounting Export page enables the export of accounting-relevant data from pixi for further processing in external financial systems. In the Reporting area, a wide range of analyses is available, covering all business areas. These reports can be exported to spreadsheet formats if needed.
Item Management
On the Items page in pixi Web, all item data can be managed—whether imported from the online shop, a PIM system, or created manually. Users can edit specific attributes, manage item numbers and Tags, maintain supplier data and purchasing conditions, and view key statistics as well as change history.
Purchasing
The Purchasing section in pixi Web supports efficient procurement of required items and management of supplier processes. Within the Suppliers page, all master data can be maintained, from address information and contact persons to purchasing conditions. In Purchase Orders, users can create, manage, and monitor procurement tasks. pixi automatically identifies needs based on reorder levels, sales figures, and open customer orders. The Not Delivered Items page provides a focused overview of ordered but not yet delivered items, which is ideal for tracking and communication with suppliers. This ensures a seamless supply chain and optimized stock coverage.
Customer Service
The Customer Service section in pixi Web acts as the central hub for managing customer orders, accessing order history, and handling offers, invoices, and returns. The Customers page provides access to all customer data, including active and completed processes. On the Offers page, users can create and manage custom offers for end customers (B2C) or business partners (B2B), with options for tracking and updating statuses. The Orders section gives a detailed view of all current and completed orders. Invoices and Credits allows viewing, filtering, and printing of all billing-related documents. Returns provides a structured overview of returned items and exchange processes.
Logistics
The Logistics section in pixi Web is the operational core for all physical goods movements, from goods receipt and storage to shipping. Goods Receipt ensures that incoming items are systematically recorded, checked, and transferred into stock. The Stock section offers extensive tools for managing storage locations, conducting transfers, and handling warehouse operations. Picklists are used for order picking, including prioritization and partial shipments. The Boxes section supports the management of all shipping boxes and is closely linked to the scanning and shipping workflows. Scan-In is used to assign order items to boxes using barcodes, which is central to the 1-Scan-Shipping process. Ship-Out controls the shipping flow, including printing shipping documents, labeling, and handing over packages to logistics service providers.
Administration
The Administration section in pixi Web includes essential system and configuration functions needed for technical operations, user and permission management, and customization of the work environment. Under Shipping Station, print settings and box assignments can be configured for specific stations. In Templates, users manage templates for labels, invoices, or delivery notes, including layout editing. The Tags section provides central management of item tags for classification, filtering, or automation purposes. Within Tables, custom data such as storage locations, shop settings, or item categories can be maintained. The Licenses page shows active usage and enables management of Web, Desktop, and Mobile licenses. Amazon IDU supports integration with Amazon’s IDU service for synchronizing shipment data. Logs record system-level events such as print jobs, shipping actions, or errors. Downloads offers access to key installation files, tools, and links. Finally, User Administration allows the creation of new users, management of roles and permissions, and definition of password policies.
pixi Desktop
The pixi Desktop Applications include the areas of item management, customer service, logistics, POS system, as well as the Invoice app.
Logistics: Shipping
The pixi shipping application is a central element of pixi: the listing of all shipped items as well as a detailed order search and the generation of picklists are core areas of this application; especially looking at onDemand or Just-In-Time processes, all relevant processes in this application are being mapped.
pixi Invoices
pixi Invoices is closely linked to the pixi Shipping. With this application, you manage all invoices that have been created so far and these still to be printed, you configure the automatic printing system, and you can search the entire database for any filter criteria (date, bin sort number) and create invoice duplicates. After scanning all available items of a customer order, the invoice is automatically generated and printed when the printout is activated, so that the Ship-Out can be processed without any interruption.
pixi Customer Service
pixi Customer Service is the very base for the optimization of customer satisfaction levels: Through insight into all important customer data, the history of all orders as well as the status of the current order of a customer in the shipping process, you can answer questions quickly and always keep a good overview.
The pixi Customer Service Application includes all personal data of your customers, an overview of current and past orders, all invoices as well as returns, an email client including the auto-email templates, as well as the customer account. You can manually add new customers to pixi Customer Service, find a customer with the customer search, view and edit customer orders, change billing or shipping details, create new orders manually, manage returns and conversions, view all invoices, send emails, manage the customer account and much more.
POS Cash Register System
The pixi POS system is an ideal addition to your online shop - for your brick-and-mortar retail shops, for outlet warehouse sales or for trade fair stand sales and market / event sales. The POS system allows the sale of items from the pixi Inventory directly to the customer via the shop counter. The user interface allows fast and efficient work and is closely linked to the other pixi applications. The pixi POS also supports its operation via touch screens. With the pixi POS application (POS = point-of-sales), you complement pixi with a POS system for retail stores, warehouse sales and outlet stores with direct connection to your inventory and numerous other functions (down payment, repair, customer data acquisition).
pixi Payments
The pixi payments application allows you to import payments as well as matching them with open items, processing refunds and collecting direct debits. In addition, a comprehensive dunning system is available.
System Settings: pixi Control Center
With the pixi Control Center application, you can manage settings for your pixi system environment depending on the user rights available to you.
pixi Mobile
With pixi Mobile, also known as a mobile data entry / capturing device (MDE), you can access the pixi database by wirelessly (WLAN). You can use it to put items into stock and move them from stock, you can use it to process incoming goods, to create mobile picklists, or to perform the Scan-In.
