pixi 23.02

pixi 23.02 is available from 31 January 2023. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


API

🟩 Bug fix: An issue was resolved concerning API call pixiReadOrderHeader. Shop notes could not be imported in the SHOPNOTE field if the content contained HTML code. With this update, shop notes with content (e.g. "<%") are enclosed in a CDATA section, which prevents them from being parsed (e.g. '<![CDATA[' + @TextValue + ']]>' ). (671018)

🟩 Bug fix: Purchase order lines could not be updated correctly with API call pixiUpdateSOrderline. The issue was resolved. The new behaviour is as follows: (724199)

  • When the purchase order line is successfully updated API call returns:

    • ReturnCode: OK

    • Message: Update done successfully.

  • When the purchase order is in status confirmed - CON or closed - CLS and the provided parameters are OrderQty and/or SupplPrice the following error is shown:

    • ReturnCode: Error

    • Message: The supplier price and order quantity can not be updated when the purchase order has status confirmed or closed (CON, CLS).

  • When the wrong purchase order line is sent as a parameter, the following error is shown:

    • ReturnCode: Error

    • Message: The specified supplier orderline id does not exist: {@SOrderlineKey}

  • In case the purchase order is not in status confirmed - CON and the @QtyNotDelivered is sent as a parameter, the following error is shown:

    • ReturnCode: Error

    • Message: @QtyNotDelivered can only be updated when supplier order is on status CON and @SupplPrice is NULL and @OrderQty is NULL or 0.

The API documentation was updated accordingly.

🟪 Enhancement: Various enhancements for API call pixiGetCustomerAccountBalance: (717968)

  • New parameter: ShopId

  • New Results:

    • CustomerId: ID of the customer record

    • CustomerNrExternal: External customer number

    • ShopId: Shop ID

    • LastEventDate: Date of the last changes to the customer account

  • API documentation was updated.

🟪 Enhancement: The documentation for API calllpixiSupplierOrderChangeStatus has been updated. The parameters @Username, @AppName and @ChangeStatusTo are mandatory and were defined as Required. (717968)

🟦 Optimization: The API callpixiSetOrderShippingLock has been optimized to save resources. (715185)


pixi Mobile

Inventory/Take from Stock/Put to Stock

🟦 Optimization: Various procedures that are used for stock operations (Take from Stock/Put to Stock) were optimized. For example, the quantity limitations for single stock movements (DB setting Max Stock Operation Quantity) are now checked earlier in the process, which saves system resources. If a too large quantity is to be moved, the operation is terminated. (715185)


Pick to Box/Box Release

🟪 Enhancement: With pixi 22.12, an error was fixed that affected the release of boxes. Further optimizations have been made with this release. Additionally, the caching behaviour of boxes was improved for the app. (709404)


Web Application

Administration (Licenses - Early Access)

🟩 Bug fix: No scrollbar was displayed in the license overview. (732731)

🟪 Enhancement: A graph for used licenses is shown. Supported only in the hosting environment.(730508)

Tip: You can show/hide the graphs by clicking on their colored boxes in the legend.


Administration (Shops/Tables)

🟩 Bug fix: When fields were edited and saved (Settings), an error message appeared if no value was entered in some fields. (731190)

🟪 Enhancement: Shops are now a subsection of Tables. (718330)

Customer Service (Customers - pixi Early Access)

🟪 Enhancement: The Customers page was migrated from Angular JS to Angular 11. The user interface changed accordingly. This enhancement is available with pixi Early Access. (468440, 468441, 468444, 731996)
The most important changes:

  • The Masked column was renamed to Info.

  • The columns can be arranged, displayed or hidden.

  • The masking icon was removed from the customer masking dialog box.

  • When creating or saving a new customer, all mandatory fields that have not been filled in are highlighted in red.

  • The URL of the Customer Service section has been changed from https://web.pixi.eu/Customer/List to https://web.pixi.eu/Customer.

Customer Service (Offers)

🟩 Bug fix: If an offer was to be sent and the attached document was changed, pixi Web displayed an error message. (724554)

Customer Service (Returns)

🟩 Bug fix: Return images (Returns detail page > Images) could not be downloaded. (732292)

🟪 Enhancement: The following columns have been added to the Returns overview page: Ship Cost, Replacement Order Nr. (with a link to its detail page), Voucher Sum and Invoice Total. (655346, 718771)

General

🟩 Bug fix: Follow-up offers, that were due on the current day, were not shown in the Follow-up widget on the front page. (728495)

🟪 Enhancement: The login process was changed for all pixi Web users . The Descartes® Multi Domain Login Page (MDLP) is available via web.pixi.eu. It allows users to set up a two-factor authentication. The various login procedures with this release are as follows: (721479)

Databases with MDLP disabled

  1. Enter Database abbreviation. Continue with Next.

  2. Enter Username and Password. Continue with Log In.

  3. You are logged in.




Databases with MDLP enabled (new)

  1. Enter the Database abbreviation. Continue with Next.

  2. Enter Username. Continue with Next.

  3. Enter Password. Continue with Sign In.

  4. (Optional) Enter/set up two-factor authentication via Microsoft/Google Authenticator app, phone number, email.
    Note: This step can be skipped for now.

  5. You are logged in.

Item Management (Items)

🟩 Bug fix: The number of open customer orders did not correspond to the actual open customer orders of the location (Profile Settings > Location). (709427)


Logistics (Picklists)

🟩 Bug fix: Picklist sequences could not be sorted by Start time. (729923)

🟩 Bug fix: Multiple Picklists could not be printed at once after pixi was updated to 23.01. (732712)


Logistics (Scan-In)

🟩 Bug fix: When the setting Scan-In - Warning on Scan-In without Picklist was activated, no corresponding warning message was shown at Scan-In in pixi web. (720321)


Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟪 Enhancement: The Single package page was adjusted. The font size now corresponds to the font size of the Scan-In page. (722614)


Purchasing (Purchase Orders)

🟪 Enhancement: The logic of the order suggestions was changed. The items of open orders with DF type 1 are no longer considered in purchase order suggestions, as these orders are processed by an external service provider. (717060)

Accounting Export App 2.0

🟩 Bug fix: Column headers for DATEV export files were corrected: (731669)

  • DATEV-Export 5.1 "Invoices" Column 5 of the header: 1 is now 7

  • DATEV-Export 5.1 "Wires" Column 5 of the header line 1 is now 7

  • DATEV-Export 5.1 "Customers" Column 5 of header line 1 is now 4

Amazon Seller Fulfilled Prime

🟪 Enhancement: The documentation was updated. It now includes information about configuring the Amazon SP API. (729527)


plentymarkets

🟩 Bug fix: When an item was imported from plentymarkets to pixi, it could happen that the same item was changed too often. With this update, the responsible service analyses the new and old data. The old data is marked as parsed (status XPA) and as processed (status XPR) in the intermediate table. (719562)


Ship Rush Integration

🟪 Enhancement: Customs information is submitted to ShipRush with DHL Paket. The functionality is available for the following services:

  • DHL Paket International

🟪 Enhancement: Customs information is submitted to ShipRush. The functionality is available for the following services: (723898)

  • FedEx International Economy

  • for the following payment methods:

    • Credit card

    • PayPal

🟪 Enhancement: pixi supports the address validation functionality of ShipRush. When an address is validated, the ShipRush system checks whether the shipping address complies with the US standard format. The functionality is located here: Customer Service > Order details page > Top menu bar > Validate Shipping Address. The validation is available when ShipRush was integrated with pixi and the shipping address is in the USA.
If the validation is successful, this is indicated by a green confirmation banner. If the validation returns a negative result, an error message is displayed. In addition, pixi sets a shipping block for the order. See the History tab for more information. (727655, 703207)


Invoices

🟩 Bug fix: Wrong quantity information for bundles was printed on invoices. (722494)

Shipping

🟩 Bug fix: The shipping vendor selection (Ship Vendor) was displayed in Ship-Out, although it had been disabled with the database setting Ship-Out - Disable Shipping Vendor drop-down. (716923)

🟩 Bug fix: Ship-out did not work if boxes with the same names existed in multiple locations. (728403)

🟩 Bug fix: Boxes that were shipped out in Shipping, could not be used in pixi Mobile. (709404)
