pixi 22.09

pixi 22.09 is available from 6 September 2022. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


API

🟩 Bug fix: The API call pixiGetReturns returned duplicate results for returns that were created for an invoice. (642206)

🟩 Bug fix: The premium API Call pixiShioutInvoice did not work when the invoice number, that was provided as an input parameter, originated from a direct invoice. In some cases, the issue occurred after the first request while an immediate second request returned the correct results. (662085)

🟪 Enhancement: The API-Calls pixiGetInvoiceLinesExtended and pixiGetOrderlineExtended were enhanced with a new input parameter. Use this input parameter if you only want to receive results from a replacement. (552519)

pixi Mobile

Virtual Keyboard

🟩 Bug fix: The virtual keyboard was displayed after an item or a bin was scanned. This behavior occurred on every device. (663101)


Web Application

Administration (Logs)

🟨 New Feature: Logs are now available under Administration > Logs. All users of a database have access to this page. The page shows a list of events that are connected to invoice creation and printing in pixi Web. (641552, 646424)


Administration (Shipping Station)

🟨 New Feature: The Shipping Station section was divided into two tabs: Current Shipping Station and All Shipping Stations. In this context, the new setting Automatic invoice creation and printing was introduced. It allows automatic invoice printing in five-minute intervals for orders whose items are scanned in.
For better usability, the location that is selected in the My profile settings is now shown in the blue bar at the top of the page. (640473, 642143, 656081)

Please note: With release 22.10 the five-minute interval will be replaced by a real-time process via pixi Messaging. Invoices will be created and printed immediately after items are scanned into a box.

The following tabs and functionalities are introduced in this release:

Current Shipping Station
In this tab, a user that is logged in to pixi Connector can set a box range, printing options and printers for their shipping station.



All Shipping Stations
Admin users can access this page. Non-admin users are denied access.

Please note: In order to make changes to other shipping stations as an administrator, these shipping stations must be logged in to pixi Connector at the time of the change. If not logged in, these shipping stations will not be displayed in the list.



Automatic invoice creation and printing
This feature is currently available for normal invoices in a defined box range and not yet for direct invoices and fulfillment. The setting applies to the entire database and a tooltip was added to the setting which describes it's functionality briefly.
The setting can either be enabled/disabled in Control Center by the pixi master user or by an admin user in pixi Web.

Disabled: Everything works as before. Invoices will be created and printed through the desktop client Invoices.
Enabled: Automatic invoice creation and printing will be done via pixi Web. When the setting is enabled, invoices will be created and printed for orders whose items are scanned into a box. The creation and printing process is executed every five minutes. Additionally, if this setting is enabled, printing via the desktop client Shipping is not working anymore.


Please note: Before Automatic invoice creation and printing is enabled, it is recommended to define printers and printing options for all (!) shipping stations. Only then the setting should be activated for pixi to assign box ranges to shipping stations/printers correctly.

When Automatic invoice creation and printing is enabled for the first time, the settings on that page are empty and the printing functionality will not work. To use the functionality:
- Define (at least) the default shipping station
- Define the box range so that all boxes are assigned to one or more stations.


Default Printing Station
Only one shipping station per location can be defined as the default printing station. The default printing station will be the fallback solution for creating and printing invoices for boxes that aren't included in box ranges defined for other shipping stations. To define a default shipping station, set the location first. As a next step, click the button in the column header () while the printing station is still highlighted to define the station as default. Afterwards, the default symbol will be displayed in the first column.


Administration (Shops - Certificate Page)

🟩 Bug fix: On the certificate page, the percentage below the shipping seal graphic did not update. (668992)


Customer Service (Invoices and Credits - Voucher Sums)

🟩 Bug fix: Imported voucher sums (from plentymarkets) were not shown in the invoice header. (633100)


Customer Service (Orders - Search functionality)

🟩 Bug fix: Searching for orders by Ship On Date was not possible in the column filtering menu. (654797)


Customer Service (Returns - Return Costs)

🟩 Bug fix: Shipping costs were not shown when a return case was processed in pixi Mobile (from status NEW > REC). (658399)


Logistics (Ship-Out - Multiple Packages Grid Sorting)

🟩 Bug fix: Sorting and filtering did not work in the invoice grid. (656081)

🟦 Optimization: A procedure was optimized to prevent deadlocks related to emailing. (653732)

🟩 Bug fix: A script defining the allowed character limit for item codes, blocked database updates. (664415)


Database Settings (Reminder Creation Limit)

🟪 Enhancement: A new database setting was added to the Control Center: Reminder Creation Limit. This setting can be used to limit the number of reminders that are created at once. The default value is 1000. (655527)


Item Export (Deadlocks)

🟦 Optimization: The item export was optimized to prevent deadlocks. (641199)


Item Import (ItemNrInt Character Limit)

🟩 Bug fix: XML files with more than 50 characters in the ItemNrInt field would cause an error in Control Center. (664936)

🟦 Optimization: The procedure for deleting bundle items was improved to prevent deadlocks. (628915)


Payments (Reminders Wizard/Reminders/Payment Matching)

🟩 Bug fix: Due to an issue in a used procedure, an error was shown when reminders were created via the Reminders Wizard. (666025)

🟪 Enhancement: The creation of reminders was improved for better performance and the client should not lose connection anymore. (655527)

🟪 Enhancement: In Payment matching > Automatic matching. the option Last 10 days was implemented. (639866)


Swiss QR Codes

🟩 Bug fix: There were no new QR codes generated for reminders that included a payment type which had not been defined in the database settings (Invoices > Payment Types for Swiss QR Codes). (669852. 670392)


Reports (Gross Profit Hist.)

🟦 Optimization: Loading times were optimized for report Gross Profit Hist. (591486)


Shipping (Label Printing)

🟩 Bug fix: Shipping labels, which were initially printed in pixi Web, could not be reprinted. (649979)
