Taking inventory is being underestimated by many of our customers.
Especially when many items have no barcodes assigned or barcodes have not yet been logged, you'll have a lot of work ahead of you: Your best bet is to initially process 10% of your inventory. You don't want to work with the simplest of items for this, rather include items with variants, bundles, etc.
Processing chosen 10% of your inventory, follow through with one of the following two options. Time the process - how long did it take you? If you multiply the amount of time it took you with 10, you will know roughly the time needed for the entire process of taking inventory.
Please do not underestimate the stocktaking process - pixi can only ship items that are correctly labeled and put in stock. If this has been set up incorrectly, you'll encounter problems at the on-site introduction.
Since most processes in pixi are running barcode-based, it is required that each of your items have a corresponding barcode, i.e. an EAN or UPC. There are three possible hybrid forms:

The items of your product range are already provided by the manufacturer with an EAN, these are maintained in your online shop. |
None, since already imported by pixi. |
The items of your product range are already provided by the manufacturer with an EAN, but these are not maintained in your online shop. |

The final step - taking inventory with pixi
Almost there! In the last step, after you have logged all the manufacturers EANs or after you have labeled all the items, all articles are supplied"with a barcode. In the last step of the installation preparation, the stock taking is carried out.
In the following steps, all items are put in stock for the first and only time in pixi. This is necessary to record items and barcodes, your stock levels and the storage bins, so that pixi can generate picklists for the picking process and also an exact display of the inventory display; and of course also in your shop.
