Item Turnover Statistics

When creating a new supplier order or checking and adapting suggested supplier orders, you need to know how often the item was sold in the past. Based on this data you can estimate the quantity of that item that needs to be in stock to properly fulfill incoming customer orders.

Item turnover statistics graph shows the number of sold items (based on created invoices) as well as the number of invoices (includes also POS invoices) on all locations which hold that item for the past two years.

TY = This Year (previous 12 months)
LY = Last Year (previous months 13 - 24)

Note: Item statistics don't include returns.

Example

For the above displayed graphic this means

  • Items (TY) = Sold items from August 2018 - July 2019

  • Items (LY) = Sold items from August 2017 - July 2018

  • Invoices (TY) = Invoices with this item from August 2018 - July 2019

  • Invoices (LY) = Invoices with this item from August 2017 - July 2018

Specifically for May:

  • Sold Items 2019 = 46

  • Sold Items 2018 = 12

  • Invoices 2019 = 14

  • Invoices 2018 = 7

Stock Fluctuation

You can track how the physical stock increased or decreased and if the stock levels you defined are working, to prevent that item doesn't run out of the stock. Stock fluctuation graph shows the value of the physical stock for all locations on the last day of the month for the past two years and defined item stock levels: safety stock, reorder level and target stock.

Example

If an item was added on 1.9.2020, then

  • the LY (last year) chart starts with September 2020 and ends with August 2021

  • the TY (this year) chart starts with September 2021 and ends with August 2022
