pixi Mobile supports BBD and Batch Number management as well as GS1 barcodes. In order to use BBD and Batch management in pixi, the related tags need to be assigned to items (Batch Number [BN], Best Before Date [BBD]). If you scan a tagged item, you need provide item information for every stock movement. In case you scan GS1 item barcodes, the needed information for BN and BBD are automatically transferred.
BBD and Batch Management can only be used, if the database setting Enable Batch Management (pixi Control Center > Database Settings > General) was enabled.

Stock Movements
Put to Stock
Enter the Quantity and scan the Item Barcode. If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 2 will be skipped.
Enter the BBD and Batch information.
Scan the Bin, on which the item should be put to stock.
(Optional) Choose the stock movement type.

Take from Stock
Enter the Quantity and scan the Item Barcode. If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 3 will be skipped.
Scan the Bin, from which the item should be taken.
Enter the BBD and Batch information.
(Optional) Choose the stock movement type.

Info: In case only one item with BBD and Batch is on stock, pixi Mobile doesn't ask for the information.
Relocate
Scan the Source Bin.
Scan the Item Barcode. If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 3 will be skipped.
Enter the BBD and Batch information.
Enter the item Quantity that should be relocated.
Scan the Target Bin or another Item.

Goods Receipt & Cross Docking
Open or create a Receipt Document.
(Goods Receipt) Change the Quantity, if needed.
Scan the Item Barcode. If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 4 will be skipped.
Enter the BBD and Batch information.
Scan the Target Bin or another Item (Goods Receipt).
Close the receipt, if all items were put to stock.

Inventory & Bin Inventory
Scan the Bin that contains the to be inventorized item (Inventory) or you want to inventorize (Bin Inventory).
Scan the Item Barcode. If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 3 will be skipped.
Enter the BBD and Batch information.
Enter the new Quantity for the item on this bin.
(Bin Inventory) You can now scan other Item Barcodes until all items were scanned.
(Bin Inventory) Finish the bin inventory.

Logistics
Picklist
Open a Picklist.
In case BBD and Batch tags are already assigned to an item and this item was put to stock, then the Item Info shows the item and BBD and Batch information you need to take from the shown bin.
Scan the Item Barcode, use the PREV and NEXT buttons or switch between picklist items by swiping.

- if you scan a GS1 barcode.
- if all the BBD and Batch information for the item are the same on one bin.
Scan-In
Open a Picklist.
Scan the Item Barcode. If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 3 will be skipped.
Enter the BBD and Batch information.
The item will be put to the next available Box.
Scan other items until the whole picklist is processed.

Pick to Box
Open a Picklist.
In case BBD and Batch tags are already assigned to an item and this item was put to stock, then the Item Info shows the item and BBD and Batch information you need to take from the shown bin.
Scan the Item Barcode. You can also switch between picklist items by using the PREV and NEXT buttons or by swiping.
If you scanned a GS1 barcode, step 4 will be skipped.Enter the BBD and Batch information.
The item will be put to the next available Box.
Scan other items until the whole picklist is processed.

- In case an ordered item has stock on different bins, the picklist gets split into multiple picklist to divide the item according to the bins. These split picklists are shown in pixi Shipping as well as the Picklist program. However, in the Pick to Box program all items from the split picklists are put to the main picklist and only the main picklist is shown in the picklist list.
Returns
Open an Invoice.
All invoice items are now shown. Information regarding BBD and Batch are shown for each item in the list. If the same item has different data for BBD and Batch, items are shown separately.
Select the item with BBD and Batch that match the returned item.
After scanning the bin, the item gets put to stock with the information shown before.
