This report is available in the Customer Service report group. This report shows items that have status "Unavailable" and a positive number of open customer orders (>0). This report also shows available items, but their stock doesn't cover all open customer orders. An item which is "Unavailable" can't be ordered from suppliers, but until it is in stock, it can still be sold to customers. Therefore, you can easily see items which were sold to customers but eventually don't have enough stock anymore to be shipped. You can now decide to order them again from (a different) supplier or inform the customer that the item is not available anymore. To get detailed information about an item, you can click on its name in the report. Report is limited to 2000 items.
