🟪 Enhancement: pixiCreateDelivery now returns an additional response group listing items that could not be added to the goods receipt document. Basic details for those items are also saved to the goods receipt document under Comment. (1518640)
pixi Messaging
🟩 Resolved Issue: We fixed an issue that caused messages about stock changes not always to be sent. (1477834)
pixi Mobile
General
🟧 New Feature: You can now process items by Packing unit in Put to Stock, Take from Stock, Delivery (Goods Receipt & Cross Docking), and Pick to Box. When an item has a packing unit defined, scan the pack and enter the number of packs to book the corresponding item quantity automatically. For example, scanning four packs with a packing unit of 10 books 40 items. Quantity limits apply to the total calculated quantity. All new enhancements of this feature:
One scan for the whole unit: For an item with a packaging unit of 10, scan the code and enter how many packs you have; pixi records the full quantity automatically (e.g. 4 units → 40 items).
New Packing Unit setting: Packing unit functionality is disabled by default and must be enabled by the Descartes pixi Customer Support.
Available for: Put to Stock, Take from Stock, Delivery (Goods Receipt & Cross Docking), and Pick to Box.
On-screen toggle: In the stock and delivery programs, turn on the Use packing unit toggle before you scan to apply the pack size to your next scan.
Pick to Box: Because Pick to Box already knows which item is next, you simply pick the multiplier from a list (e.g. x1 for a single item, x10 for a full unit).
Quantities update as you go: The screen always shows what will actually be booked (for example, "40 (4 x10)") and a Last scan line so you can confirm.
Missing items are finished as single items: When fewer than a full pack remain, pixi automatically switches to single items so you can complete the exact quantity.
Built-in safety against mistakes: The toggle turns itself off after every scan, so you consciously choose to use it each time. This prevents accidental multiplication when an item and its pack share the same barcode.
Quantity limits: Over-delivery and maximum-quantity checks always use the full booked amount, so a pack scan can never slip past a limit.
Uses the packing sizes you already have: The feature reads the packing unit already stored on your items in pixi (item Packing Unit); no re-entry or new setup of item data is needed.
Special cases: Serial Number Items are not supported in Goods Receipt and in Cross Docking. Batch Management Items (BN, BBD) are currently not supported
🟧 New Feature: Warehouse staff can now ship bulk items directly from the pixi mobile app during the Pick to Box flow, without returning to a desktop ship-out station. When a qualifying bulk item is placed into its box, the app prints the shipping label to the device's configured printer, shows a confirmation step to attach the label, and returns to the start of the flow for the next item. The Mobile Ship-Out database setting is set to disabled by default; it applies to the Pick to Box program only. All new enhancements of this feature:
Picklist option: picklist creation and picklist profiles gain a Use Mobile Ship-Out functionality option (active/inactive) in the Item Tags section, so a picklist can be marked as a Mobile Ship-Out picklist. Hidden for 1‑Scan‑Shipping picklists and saved with profiles. The mobile picklist list highlights Mobile Ship-Out orders.
New "Mobile Ship-Out" setting: A feature switch that enables the capability for the Pick to Box program and its bulk items. The setting is disabled by default and must be enabled by the Descartes pixi Customer Support.
Mobile Ship-Out system tag: A new Mobile Ship-Out system tag can be assigned to bulk items (and bundled items) so they are handled through the flow. The tag is a protected system tag.
Mobile printer settings: A new Printers settings page lets each device select its Shipping station and Shipping label printer; the selections are saved per device. A Print test label action verifies the setup. Changing the station clears the previously selected printer.
Connector-based printing: Shipping labels are printed through the pixi Connector, using the printers connected to the selected shipping station.
Shipping-label printing: The shipping label is produced (ShipRush) using the package weight taken from the item data, and sent to the selected printer. The operator confirms the label is attached before continuing.
Automatic ship-out: When every item in a completed box is a bulk item, pixi finalizes the invoice, creates the shipping packages, and completes ship-out automatically.
Special Cases: Batch Management Items (BN, BBD) are currently not supported for this functionality
Only available with Descartes ShipRush.
Goods Receipt
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the stock history displayed incorrect matched and unmatched quantities for goods receipts entered in the mobile app when purchase orders were matched using the "oldest order first" rule. The stock history now displays the correct quantities, consistent with the web application. (1194371)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue that caused delays or timeouts when confirming a bin during Mobile Goods Receipt or Cross Docking for large goods receipts. The issue could also cause incorrect delivered quantities to be recorded. (1576006)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue that incorrectly matched delivered items to purchase orders when the matching type was set to Oldest order. (1566949, 1558874)
Pick to Box
🟩 Resolved Issue: With Scan connected order lines enabled and Enter quantity on scan-in disabled, scanning items on a picklist could incorrectly trigger an "item already scanned" warning after an order line had been split by a partial-quantity scan. Picklists with connected order lines now complete correctly regardless of the quantity-entry setting. (1546937)
🟩 Resolved Issue: When setting or updating a box range, the focus previously remained on From Bin after scanning; it now moves to To Bin. (1563305)
Put to Stock
🟩 Resolved Issue: Scanning a different item after putting the first item into stock continued to display bins associated with the first item. (1567833)
Replenishment
🟩 Resolved Issue: Reserved stock on source location is now excluded from available stock for replenishment to other location. (1527727)
Take from Stock
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue in the mobile Take From Stock program where items tagged with a Best Before Date (BBD) or Batch Management tag could not be removed from stock when matching stock records had no recorded BBD or batch value. These items should be removed from stock and corrected by re-entering the missing information when putting them back into stock. (1504990)
pixi Web
Administration (Templates)
🟩 Resolved Issue: Selecting a data source for a subreport in the Template Editor no longer causes an internal server error, which previously blocked configuring invoice subreports in Administration > Templates. (1543349)
🟩 Resolved Issue: Bundle items are now correctly included in invoice data and print as expected on invoices using web templates (e.g., Invoice_Bundleitems). Bundle item details were previously missing from the invoice data pipeline. (1553092)
Logistics (Stock)
🟪 Enhancement: When entering or scanning a quantity during a stock operation, an invalid value now triggers a clear error dialog. Closing the dialog resets the Quantity field for a new entry. (1513922)
pixi Desktop
Connector
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the pixi Connector did not consistently print non-standard shipping labels correctly. We updated the PDF components and added a fallback solution to improve label printing. Some 4-by-6-inch labels may still not resize correctly due to the PDF format and must be corrected by the shipping vendor or external label provider. (1532996)
Control Center
Auto Emails
🟪 Enhancement: The Return received and RET email templates in Auto E-mails now support the I_OrderNrExternal variable. Use this variable to include the external order number from the original order. For returns that include multiple orders, the external order numbers appear as a comma-separated list. (1508347)
Settings
🟪 Enhancement: Two new system settings are now available to support mobile warehouse processes: (1543175, 1543293)
Mobile Ship-Out enables eligible items in the Pick-to-Box process to be shipped directly from a mobile device, including printing the shipping label on the selected printer.
Use Packing Units for Item Scanning applies the configured packing unit quantity when scanning items in supported mobile processes. Both settings are disabled by default and can be managed by the master user. Note that only integers can be entered into the fields.
Both settings are disabled by default and are intended for controlled feature enablement through Descartes pixi Support.
Integrations
ShipRush
🟪 Enhancement: DHL International Returns are now available for orders shipped with DHL Paket International via ShipRush. During ship-out, pixi automatically requests and prints the return label along with the shipping label and any additional return or customs documents provided by DHL. pixi also stores the return tracking number on the package and order, making it available to customer service, connected systems, and sales channels. (1528994)
PlentyONE
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where the packaging/order unit for items imported from PlentyONE was not applied correctly in pixi. Based on the channel's Import Order Unit setting, pixi now applies either a fixed value of 1 or the packaging unit configured for the item's supplier variation, matching the value in PlentyONE. (1545084)
🟩 Resolved Issue: We resolved an issue where imports failed when pixi encountered unrecognized tags. pixi now ignores unrecognized tags, allowing imports to continue without interruption. (1535239)
🟪 Enhancement You can now exclude order lines from plentyONE order matching by tagging them with a pixi item tag. Use the new channel settting Exclude Unstockable Items By Item Tag. (1488898)
The tag name must use English letters only, with no spaces or special characters, and must match the pixi item tag name exactly, including capitalization. The value isn't validated, so a name that doesn't match excludes nothing — test the setting on a test order after configuring it.
Not supported alongside pixi invoicing: an invoice raised from a pixi order with skipped lines won't match the original plentyONE order. pixi doesn't prevent enabling both, so avoid this combination.
When order lines are skipped, order totals and prices in pixi can differ from the original plentyONE order.
