pixi 23.08

pixi 23.08 is available from 1 August 2023. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


API

🟩 Bug fix: The API-CAll pixiGetInvoice was changed. The VAT from the shipping and return costs is now also included in the VATSum, VATHigh and VATLow fields. (837886)

🟪 Enhancement: The API calls pixiDFSetStatus and pixiDFUpdateOrderlineStatus, can now process data for batch management. Please also note the new setting DF: Required data for system tags (see Control Center). (875286)


pixi Mobile

🟩 Bug fix: If the option to confirm the field when scanning is activated, the field for the last item was already pre-filled. Auto-filling is now prevented. You need to scan/enter the box for the last item to confirm the scan-in. (773748)


Web Application

Administration (User Administration > Users – Early Access)

🟪 Enhancement: In the User Roles tab, users can be assigned and removed roles. (781203)

🟪 Enhancement: Administrators can change passwords for individual users with automatically generated temporary passwords. The generated temporary password is sent to the respective user by e-mail. When logging in for the first time, the user is prompted to change the temporary password. (738542)


🟪 Enhancement: From pixi 23.08, the minimum password length is 12 characters. (743905)


Administration (User Administration > Roles – Early Access)

🟪 Enhancement: The Roles page is now available under User Administration. The role settings will be available with the next release. (743691, 759560)


Controlling (Accounting Export)

🟩 Bug fix: The prefix "EXTF_" was missing in exported DATEV 5.1. files. (889817)

🟩 Bug fix: In exported files, the selected date range was not specified. (889899)


Customer Service (Orders)

🟩 Bug fix: The filter in the Picklist no. column did not work. (841498)


General (Login via Desktop)

🟩 Bug fix: When a desktop app was launched from another desktop app and the user was not logged in to pixi Web, two licences were used on one desktop PC. From now on, no new SessionID will be created when opening a client from another client. (881777)


General (Profile Settings and Passwords – Early Access)

🟪 Enhancement: The profile settings (Home > My Profile Settings) now opens a separate page. (743693, 743691)


🟪 Enhancement: Users now have the option to change their password. The option is located in the toolbar > My Profile Settings > Key icon. Please note our information on passwords. (743686, 886365)


General (Supplier Price)

🟪 Enhancement: The imported supplier price includes the exact four decimal numbers, if the database setting Number Of Decimal Places For Prices was set to "4". The default value of the setting is "2".Example:

  • When the setting is set to

  • 2, the Supplier Price is displayed as 21.9700

  • 4, the Supplier Price is displayed as 21.9675

The supplier price is displayed accordingly in the areas Items > Suppliers, Purchase Orders > Order Lines and in exported CSV files. (875573)


Logistics (Picklist sequences)

🟪 Enhancement: For the creation of new picklist sequences, the times in the drop-down were localized for the English language. (888314)

🟩 Bug fix: Minor adjustments to the user interface of the Create New Sequence page. (812927)


Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟩 Bug fix: The shipping vendor drop-down was empty in some cases. (896315)

🟪 Enhancement: To make the Ship-Out easier to use with hand scanners, we have made the following changes to the behaviour of the Ship-Out page: (896808)

  • When the page or the Single Package tab is opened or refreshed:

    • the focus is in the Box or Invoice field or

    • the focus is in the Weight field if the setting Weight input at Ship-Out is enabled.

  • When the page or the tab Multiple Packages is opened or refreshed:

    • the focus is in the Box or Invoice field. After the box/invoice is scanned the focus is set on the Item Code field until the last item was added to the package.

    • After the last item from the Box/Invoice was scanned, the focus is in the Weight field. If the database setting Weight input at Ship-Out and the toggle are enabled, the focus is on the Weight field. If both options are disabled, the focus is in the Shipping Vendor field.

🟪 Enhancement: The process of single package ship out has been optimized, especially for the case where the package includes multiple items. The duration is now up to 10 times shorter. (886855)

🟦 Optimization: The processing time for 1SS was optimized. (875640)


Desktop Applications

Connector

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, importing files with tracking IDs caused the client to close. (742907)


Control Center

🟪 Enhancement: A new setting is available: Order Export - Status List for Export to Shop. When an order line status is changed to one of the defined statuses, an XML export to the shop is initiated. The order line statuses defined in the field must be a comma-separated list (default: HAL,ANG,AUS,BES,RET,NLB,STO). (760953)

NOTE: The database setting Order export - Export status EIN is obsolete from pixi 23.08. If the setting was enabled on your database, pixi will automatically add status EIN to Order Export - Status List for Export to Shop. If it was disabled and you would like to use it, you need to add the status manually.

🟪 Enhancement: A new setting is available: DF: Required data for system tags. If this setting is activated, the data fields for batch management must be provided on import. (875286)

User Administration (Roles and Permissions)

🟩 Bug fix: Some permissions were listed several times in the menu. (884308)


Reports

🟪 Enhancement: The calculation of the historical supplier price was improved. The actual date on which items were added to the inventory on goods receipt documents is now checked (previously the date of the last change from the goods receipt document was used).
Example: Items were added to the inventory on 30.6.2023. The goods receipt document was last updated on 1.7.2023. The report was created for the date 30.6.2023. When calculating the historical purchase price, this Goods Receipt was excluded because the "Update Date" was after the "Report Date". (876229)
