pixi 23.09

pixi 23.09 is available from 5 September 2023. It includes several bug fixes, new features, enhancements and optimizations.


API

🟩 Bug fix: The API call pixiItemSearch did not return results for open supplier orders by location. Now, if the @LocID parameter is provided, pixi searches for open orders at the location, otherwise it uses the default location (ID = 1). (812260)

🟩 Bug fix: When the call pixiPutIntoBox was used, the @Orderlinekey parameter was not passed correctly. (883520)

🟦 Optimization: The API call pixiGetOrderHeader was optimized to return results faster, using even fewer system resources. (885670)

🟦 Optimization: The API call pixiReadOrderHeader was optimized. The default value for the @RowCount parameter is "1000". The maximum value for the parameter can now be set to "100.000". (891098)


pixi Mobile

Inventory

🟩 Bug fix: When a code was scanned after the actual item code, the scanned value was saved as a batch number (BN), although the item did not have the BN tag assigned. Now, any scanned code is ignored, you need to enter BBD or select it via the date picker. (746528)

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, pixi Mobile displayed a timeout error after a few items were scanned. (903633)


Picklists

🟪 Enhancement: A warning message is displayed when an incorrect combination of picklist number and bin group number is entered. (899890)


Returns

🟩 Bug fix: pixi Mobile did not recognize invoice numbers scanned in the Returns program when a Honeywell device was used. (713017)


Web Application

Administration (Licenses)

🟪 Enhancement: The used licenses chart is now dynamically adjusted to the page size and the license grid no longer has a second scroll bar in Google Chrome. (889092)


Administration (Tables > Shops)

🟩 Bug fix: In some cases, the images of the shipping seal were not loaded. (901455)


Administration (User Roles – pixi Early Access)

🟪 Enhancement: The functionality to create or delete roles (blue action menu) is now active. Please note: Roles can only be deleted after they have been removed from all users. (743909)

🟪 Enhancement: User roles can now be edited in the Roles tab. To access the settings of a specific role, open the link in the Name column. (743910, 743913)


Customer Service

🟩 Bug fix: If shipping costs were changed manually, the order total was not updated automatically. (886021)


Items (Item Management)

🟪 Enhancement: Supplier prices are not visible anymore to users without permission. (893901)


Logistics (Picklists)

🟩 Bug fix: A displaying issue caused the last element of a Picklist to be hidden. (894007)


Logistics (Returns)

🟩 Bug fix: Credit documents could not be printed when multiple returns were created. (837845)

Note: The print option is only available when printing Invoices/Credits via the web application is enabled (i.e. the print option in the shipping station configuration is not set to "Print from pixi Desktop").

🟩 Bug fix: When creating a replacement order, the Address remarks were not copied from the original to the created replacement order. (877338)


Logistics (Ship-Out)

🟪 Enhancement: If the option to select the package type is enabled for the shipping vendor, the popup window to select the package type will be displayed during shipping with the focus in the dropdown. (895118)


Purchasing (Purchase Orders)

🟪 Enhancement: A new functionality was implemented: Reset Layout. It will reset the list of order lines to the default grid view (i. e. the order of columns, which columns are shown or hidden etc.). The functionality is located under the icon. Resetting the layout also solves the problem that some columns were not visible even though the user had the appropriate permission (e.g. supplier price visibility and other price-related columns). Auto Emails

🟩 Bug fix: Some auto emails were sent multiple times, although those emails were already expired or deleted. (811443)

🟦 Optimization: The creation of Order sent Completely auto emails was optimized. (841585)


Import & Export

🟩 Bug fix: An issue within the item import was resolved. The supplier price with 4 decimal numbers is now correctly imported. Previously, the import only worked when price per supplier was provided (FEATURE tag), Now it also works for general supplier price (SUPPLPRICE_AMOUNT tag).
Note: Database setting NumberOfDecimalPlacesForPrices must be set to 4.

🟪 Enhancement: The procedure that prepares the list of changed orders for export has been optimized to reduce the load on the server. (892833)


Import & Export (plentymarkets)

🟪 Enhancement: A new channel setting is available: Number of items to import. The default value is "100" which is the value that was previously set in the code already although it was unchangeable for users. This setting determines the number of items that will be exported to pixi.
Since plentymarkets works with item variations (which are separate items in pixi), it could be that the item import took a lot of time (to process 100 items and their variations) and no order could be imported during this time.
With the new setting, it is possible to limit the number of items per import operation to a lower value, so that orders can be imported more regularly. (886041)


pixi Shipping integration

🟪 Enhancement: Shipping documents can now be reprinted in Ship-Out while using the pixi shipping solution. (784365)


Payments

🟪 Enhancement: The new CSV format for bank files (account transactions) introduced by Postbank on June 30, 2023 is supported by pixi. (886411)
