Picklist Templates

You can upload your individually designed picklist template in pixi Web > Administration.

Important:

  • Create a backup of the template before working on it.

  • Changes to templates are done at one's own risk. pixi* doesn't support such templates.

  • Changes that are implemented by the pixi* Support are billable.


Configuration

Permission in the User Administration

You can define which user role(s) should be able to change templates.
Follow these steps to assign the needed permission to a user role:

  1. Open pixi* Control Center.

  2. Navigate to the User Administration under Tools > Administration

  3. In the Roles and Permissions tab open the role you want to change with a double click or using

  4. In the Role Permissions tab, General group activates the permission Allow using the Template Editor for invoice and picklist templates and confirms the changes with OK.


Add Picklist Template

This is how you can add a template for deliveries:

  1. In the navigation click on Administration and then click on Templates.

  2. Click on the Picklists tab.

  3. Click the button Change Template. A dialog window will be shown.

  4. Click Choose File (Google Chrome) or Browse (Mozilla Firefox) and find the edited template on your computer. Select the template and click Open.

  5. Click OK to save your changes.

Warning: Whenever a template that contains scripting is uploaded, the template is considered unsafe and cannot be used until it gets approved by pixi employees. Currently, this is not displayed in the UI. If you plan to use scripts in templates, contact pixi Support in time to check and approve the template. At best, avoid any scripting in templates. Please, be aware that checking and approving the template takes some time.

Edit Picklist Templates

This is how you can edit a template for deliveries:

  1. In the navigation click on Administration and then click on Templates.

  2. Click on the Picklists tab.

  3. Click on the .repx template file name to download it to your computer. You can edit the template with the Template Editor.

  4. You can upload the edited template as described in Add Picklist Template.


Default Templates

There are default templates that were created for different scenarios.
They can be downloaded here (Updated on: Feb 10, 2020).

All templates usually contain the following information:

Header

  • contains general picklist information, e.g.

    • Picklist number and barcode

    • is it a 1-Scan-Shipping picklist

    • Bin group and barcode

    • Box range

    • Creation and expiry date

    • Item quantities

    • Comment

  • printed on every page

Items

  • contains item details, e.g.

    • Bin

    • Quantity

    • Supplier item number

    • EAN

    • Item name

    • Best before date and batch number (if available)

  • sorted by bin sort number, bin name, quantity, item name (in this order)


Picklist.repx / Pickliste.repx

With this template only items of the same bin group are printed on one page.
Header information are visible on all pages.


Picklist_Barcode.repx / Pickliste_Barcode.repx

The setup of this templates equals the Picklist.repx / Pickliste.repx templates.
The only difference is that the item EANUPC is additionally displayed als scannable barcode per item.


Picklist_NoBinGroup.repx / Pickliste_KeineLagergruppen.repx

This template completely ignores grouping items by bin groups. All picklist items are listed one after another.
